Hi guys. Thought Id share my latest drawing. I like it because it is Cloud and Tifa. But I dont like it because I think I drew it poorly :lol: Maybe Im just a perfectionist when it comes to my favorite FF couple :lol: Ah well, its done anyways and I can finish working on my Sephy drawing. Which in my opinion is looking better then this one :D

Sigh...theres something about it that makes me think "Meh..." :( Oh and yes I had references to look at while I was drawing.

Heya guys...sorry if make typos or dont make any sense...my head hurts so bad at the moment. But I have to share my first experiences with a PS3 :D

My brother just got one (im so jealous!) but he was very nice and invited me over this weekend to play it :D And now I want one even more!

I got to play the Ninja Gaiden Sigma demo, Heavenly Sword demo, MGSO, and the Ratchet and Clank demo. My favorite was Ratchet and Clank. Beautiful looking game! Will definitely get it whenever I can finally get a PS3. I figured it would be my favorite because I loved the Ratchet game for the PSP.

Full games I got to play were Motostorm, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and Lair. Surprisingly, I absolutely loved Lair. That game was a blast and will be one I buy when I get a PS3. I know it didnt get good reviews but I thought it was so much fun. Probably has something to do with the fact that I love dragons and this is exactly the kind of game I always wished I could play :D . Spent most of my time playing it so I was able to finish the game. There were definitely some issues, mainly cameras going wonky at certain times and some collision issues when you got locked on a target and were really close to a mountain or tower. But nothing was game breaking or very annoying and could be addressed if they make a sequel.

I used the Sixaxis controls for the whole game, never even tried the analog controls. I dont know why the critics hated the sixaxis controls. I found it extremely easy to use and made it really feel like I was really riding the dragon. I got to use all four types of dragons. My favorite was the bulky, strong one. He was slower then the other dragons in speed and turning but a huge powerhouse. There was a speedy one that was really weak which was fun to use but really only for certain missions. I liked that I could choose which dragon I thought would be best suited for the mission I was undertaking. It was great playing missions over to get better metals and I loved how I could tell I was getting better at controlling the dragon.

The battles felt epic. Large armies swarmed the fields, dragons filled the skies, catapults were shooting at you, ect. I loved flying down on the army and scorching tons of enemy soldiers with the dragons flame. Or swooping in to pick up a catapult on monster and flinging it into the ground. And the dragon fighting was great. Everything from my character jumping off my dragon to take out the enemy and his dragon to the two dragons being locked in combat, freefalling, while clawing, biting and flaming each other was wonderful. I loved being able to land and take on the army then leap back into the skies again. It was so much fun to play and I wish I could play more now...I want a PS3 :lol:

Crisis Core Review

I have played way too much Crisis Core ...I had two entirely different dreams last night but both had all the characters in it...I even dreamed their voices...It was weird, but very cool! :lol:

I went to Gamestop today and was very happy to find a used copy of Final Fantasy VI Advance! I cant wait to play it and see what everyone is raving about :D Should be lots of fun!

There was a wasp in my bedroom today...sprayed it with bug spray stuff...then ran like I was being chased by a pack of horrible monsters with 6 inch long teeth :lol: ... the problem is I thought it would be dead at the bottom of the window...but it isnt there. Now Im afraid to go in there :cry: The angry thing is gonna kamakazi me or something :lol: ...I...DONT...LIKE...BUGS!

WOOHOO! I'm so happy! :lol: 100% on both the missions and the DMW! Man that was so much fun, can't believe I finally got it. That was a lot of missions. Most of them were very entertaining. I really liked the Hojo's Experiments, Yuffie's missions and the ones leading up to and including Minerva. The Genji armor pieces really helped out on the later missions.

Now to play again from the begining!! :lol: ...well first I have to cry again on the ending:cry:

I really love Crisis Core. Has to be one of my favorite games ever!

I just finished my latest drawing! If you remember my Dante drawing, you might remember I don't usually draw people...This has to be my best one yet though! It's my favorite one :)

A little bit about the drawing first. Zack and Cloud are sitting on a low stone wall/fence that is running from left to right across the page with Leon standing in front with his arms crossed. The image is shrunk, I made it on an 8x11 piece of paper, and the scanner did a decent job getting the details but the original is better :) I had references to look at while I drew it, Im not good enough to do it from my head. However, they were not all in the same picture, I drew them all together and shading to make it look like they were all in the same picture. Also I added clothing (ie. Zack's shoulder guard, belt, straps). Also changed stuff (ie. Cloud's neck wrap thing, both of his arms). Cloud's hair was not in a reference, completely did it from my head.

Well what do you guys think? :D

P.S.: Cloud's hair was a pain to do! :lol: I did it probably 3 times before I liked it hehe

Heya everyone! Sorry I havent blogged for like a week. Been busy with this and that :D

Im still working on getting to 100% in Crisis Core. Havent had much time for gaming during the week :( Well I hope once I finish Crisis Core at 100% I can finally do the review...or I guess if I had time I could do it sooner...cause I actually jumped ahead and finished it :lol: Couldnt stop myself and I cried so much at the end!

I did visit my brother's place over the weekend and got to play more Lost Odyssey!! Of course I had a blast. Also I got to play co-op on Rainbow Six Vegas 2. That was a lot of fun!

Well cause I dont really have much to say, Ill show you guys a picture :D

Cloud is the one on the left, he is a husky/shepard mix I think. He looks a lot like a wolf, except the very tips of his ears have a kink in them, they dont flop over but they arent completely straight up. And yes, yes he is named after Cloud Strife :lol:

Draco is the one on the right, and I have no idea what kind of mix he is. The shelter said he was a chow mix, so I usually just say that...but he has the coloring of a rottie and the build of a husky... :? And no, he is not named after the Harry Potter character!

Hi guys...whew Im tired...

First off, I want to mention that I have changed the link in my header for Cloud Strife's personality. I was able to write a character profile of Cloud for SER union. I love what I wrote so the link is changed and will go there instead of to the little blurp I made in my blog :lol: Plus it has purdy pictures...pictures make everything better! :lol:

I am now an officer in SER! My first time being an officer in a union... Im a bit nervous but very excited too :D

In Crisis Core news, Ive just finished 80% of the missions and have played for over 50 hours. The last 20% feels like its taking forever cause I want to see the end now that I am so close. These latest missions though have been extremely fun. Two of my favorites have been part of the Hojo Experiments, one where you get to fight against a monster that looks and acts like Zack and one that looks and acts like Sephiroth.

I watched FFVII: Advent Children again the other day...my like 1 billionth time watching it :lol:. I always liked the movie but now that Ive learned many details from Crisis Core, I love it even more. Which I didnt think was even possible, but I do! :D

I think thats all I can write for now...I should stop before I fall asleep on my keyboard.

How's everyone today? Im on a sugar rush from the bowl of ice cream I just ate :lol: So if I make no sense at all youll know why :D

I made new link buttons for my blog. If you notice they are still the same pictures but Ive made them smaller. The others were nice but they were HUGE! :lol: I like these cause they are smaller and they all fit on one row. Also I will be adding links to any blog entry that I think is important enough for it not to get lost when I keep making new entries. For example, you can see that my last blog about Cloud's personality is the first that gets a link :D

Gaming news: More Crisis Core :lol: I havent played anything but it since I got it on release day. Im nearing the end of the story...*sniffle*....I have 75% of the side missions done, Zack is level 67 I believe, and I have 47 hours played so far. Still gonna try to get 100%...slowly getting there :D

Oh and was anyone else so bored when Gamespot forums were down? Or do I just have no life?...wait dont answer that...:lol:

I think the forums being down was a plot by SE :shock:...They made me bored so I went and watched FFIV DS trailers...now I want FFIV even more :P

Btw, It seems that FFIV finally has a release date: July 2008! Hope it doesnt get delayed *crosses fingers*

I just got the first disc of Tsubasa Chronicles in the mail from netflix. Im liking it a lot! I can't wait for the next one to come :D I purchased the Crisis Core Soundtrack from ebay...waiting for it to arrive.

Hello everyone!

I have gotten tired of my favorite character, Cloud, being labeled as emo, so I decided to do a very brief overview of Cloud's personality. He has no characteristics to even suggest he is emo. He may have low self esteem and depression at times (wouldnt you if you went through what he did?!?!) but that doesnt mean emo!

So I actually wrote this whole thing as a response in the SER forums...So if you have already read it, Im sorry, you dont have to read it again. I liked what I wrote and want to have it in my blog. Plus Im too lazy to come up with something new for my blog today :lol:

Also this is only a summary. I could be a lot more detailed. But I could only do a condensed version on the forums and again I am tired and dont feel like rewriting it.

Now if you do not want to know events in Crisis Core, FFVII, and Advent Children, Please Do Not Read!

Ok Cloud's personality as condensed as I possibly can:

Cloud starts out in a little town called Nibelheim. His only real friend is Tifa, but even she doesnt spend much time with him. Cloud is extremely shy and yes he does like Tifa. So he hears all these stories about SOLDIER and decides he will prove himself to Tifa, prove that he deserves to be seen.

So off Cloud goes to Shinra, and what do you know he fails to become SOLDIER. He yet again is pushed to the side and becomes a basic infantry man. Another blow to Cloud's confidence, but this doesnt make him emo. He just has low self esteem. At this point he is very innocent to the world around him.

Well he meets Zack, a SOLDIER just like he wants to be. Still he is shy, but he really wants to learn as much as possible. Which of course Zack always helps anyone he meets, so they become friends. And Zack slowly gets Cloud to open up and have some confidence.

They reach Nibelheim again, Cloud is very embarrassed he was unable to fulfill his promise that he wouldnt return until he was SOLDIER. Sephiroth goes all villian-y and both Tifa and Zack are hurt...the only 2 people who had some belief in him. He gets all ticked off and shows he is truly stronger then he ever believed he was against Sephiroth.

A giant sword through your gut isnt too good for you, so Cloud passes out.

When they wake they are in floaty watery test tubes...Boy has this guy been through a lot...remember he is only technically a kid still.

Ok so Cloud is a little out of it...ok a lot...because the scientist have been experimenting on him and the mako really messed him up. But Zack helps him as they make their escape. Next thing Cloud knows he is watching his best friend, the only person who saw more in him, who believed in him, die.

So ya he goes a little mental...He is still a kid, he has seen death, had a sword shoved through him, been horribly experimented on and lost everything that he knows...plus he never got to really grow up and understand who he truly is. (end of Crisis Core)

In his shock, he takes on the persona of the only person who believed in him, Zack.

Ok so for the majority of FFVII he is technically Zack. Doing everything he knows Zack would do. Once Sephy starts messing with his mind, he acts very weird. Why? Because he has a confident, cocky, self assured personality that is Zack...but who is he really? He doesnt even know because he lost everything before he learned who he really is.

In the end he ends up remembering his past, remembering he is truly stronger then he believes, and defeats Sephiroth.

(And there ends FFVII)

Now Cloud is all happy, has confidence, wants to move on with his life. He makes a Delivery service, moves in with Tifa, fixes up an awesome bike, hangs out with all of the friends he has made, ect. He wants a peaceful life. Everything is going great, Cloud smiles, laughs, and has fun. But then the Geostigma hits him.

Although probably not the smartest move, he grows distant with everyone. He is getting sicker and sicker. He doesnt want anyone to be unhappy again and knows there is no cure. He doesnt want to cause anyone any pain. But what he doesnt realize is that being distant IS causing pain to the ones he loves.

His sickness is making him weak, he cant be strong for the ones he loves, he cant protect them. He does want to fail to protect them, the people who trust in him, like he believes he did with Zack and Aerith. Part way through Advent Children, he once again realizes that it is just as important to try as it is to win. Cured of the Geostigma, he defeats Sephiroth again. And now he realizes that being with the people he loves is the real joy in the world.

Well thats it in a nutshell. Not as good as I could do but I think you can get the idea. Oh and the info between FFVII and AC came from the Novel available with the AC Collector's Edition DVD. So I have references :D

I find Cloud's personality to be very human, very real. He has flaws and that just makes me like him more :lol:
