@usmc_jesse: I owned the One and I upgraded. It was totally worth it. Even more worth it when the upgrade option included a brand new $70 game that I was going to buy anyway, came with a new warranty, 4k support, HDR, 4k bluray, improved performance, a controller that doesn't drop connection repeatedly, a massively reduced footprint, and all for a mere $100 trade in.
So for less than $10 a month I get to enjoy my toy all the way up to the next awesome upgrade deal.
@naomha1: Sorry, I just can't agree with this. If all you're looking for is a hack and slash then you'll be reasonably content, but as a FF game it needs to be highly proficient at magic use and have a strong story. The magic ranged from simple to useless and summoning was barely an option. The story was nowhere near the scope it should have been as a FF game, let alone for a 2016 release.
It's not a crap game. There is tonnes in there that I like, but it could have been soo much better. I'll just chalk this up to growing pains and pray for FFVII.
