Maybe we're just looking at the quality titles coming out. We could take out "Halo series is going down..." and it wouldn't change the message.
Yeah it would change the message. If it was just a collection of screenshots with a title like "quality FPS's coming out" then you'd be right. But it doesn't, the title is about games "killing Halo", meaning that compared to Halo they would have to be better.

Are you seriously using the consoles used at a gaming site/magazine (I don't know how connected 1up and EGM are) as a measure of how reliable a console is? Thats like using a taxi or rental car to see how reliable a model of car is. And in the context ofyour post"moving target" would indicate reliability is improving.
I haven't seen the new pics but from what I've seen no. Fisher's look makes perfect sense, he has non-descript clothing (witha hood to hide his face) and he did 2 of the easiest things to change your face, change your hair and facial hair. Snake looks like a pirate in a wetsuit.
The only thing I know is true from that article is that MS is going to include developers througout the design process. For all the crap MS takes about being trash or how they just rip off other companies, they figured out you should include the people making the games in the design process before Sony did.
