um...Rainbow Six, Double Agent, Oblivion. Enchanted Arms. Don't worry its not just Sony losing exclusives. Personally i think Third party games will be less of a factor than 1st party games. but yeah no need to worry.Takiwara
Don't forget Saints Row as well.

I have a 360 and a PS3, which sucks because now I'll have to buy the same game twice to play both sets of content.

[QUOTE="darrowby88"][QUOTE="Ontain"]I'll probably put it away toward something that i really want in the summer. maybe an engagement ring for my gf. Ontain
i plan on doing that sometime....yeah....commitment and such....its fantastic

I have the money for one already. but asking her isn't really what i'm nervous about. it's the wedding. I hate planing and i know there will be a ton of ppl. I hope they all give me the gift of $$$. She's a woman that's okay with my gaming hobby, likes to play wii with me and likes going to anime, scifi and going to conventions with me. i can't let this one go ;)

Wait till you get married, then days of her playing with your "Wii" will be few and far between. :) Don't ban me mods, I just couldn't hold my tounge.

Tax refund?  I remember the days when April 15th meant a nice refund check.  This year I owe $4,800 to the IRS.   I love how this country penalizes you for being successful so I can pay the bills for some crackhead mom and her 8 children.

[QUOTE="ramey70"][QUOTE="RKFS"]Nah, faster internet along with digital distrubution will do the job... RKFS
So gaming will be available to only the select few with blazing fast interenet connections?

I'm talking about in ten years here when people actually stop buying DVDs...

Digital music is widely available now via iTunes and multiple other sources, yet CD's still account for almost 85% of music sales. Why would movies be any different?

I was wondering, if it doesnt require a digital input than why do DVD upscalers only upscale through HDMI? Dose anyone know?

Mafia17
Because CSS encryption on DVD's requires all upscaling to be done over a HDCP capable connection such as DVI or HDMI. VGA is not specifically mentioned by the DVD forum and thus the 360 can upscale with the optional vga cable.

You also need to remember that even the age of MP3's, iTunes, and easily downloadable music that CD's still account for 85% of music sales.  And now you want to use that method for movies?
