It seems very much the same as say the first 18months of XBOXone or PlayStation4 where games are still released for 360 and ps3 so all you get is slightly better textures and viewing distance etc as games are still targeting previous generation users primarily.
Over time we will see 3DS titles drop off as more users "Switch" and then the true Switch titles will begin to take focus.
For now for early adopters we can enjoy some higher res, higher texture titles and for those waiting they can still play new games whilst developers really get a handle on the new hardware.
Tell you what, quote the posts laughing me out the room, like I did the quotes laughing at your ignorance, and if you can quote more than I did I'll concede defeat......
“Then MHXX is a 3DS port of MHX which is also on 3DS. Makes sense.”
"I was taking what that guy said about all "enhanced versions" being ports, so yeah..."
“Yeah, I never said they aren't. I'm only arguing against you calling MHXX the same game as MHX, since MHXX has more content. MHXX being an expanded version of MHX is something I would easily agree with, though.”
"Damn, you almost had the perfect post."
"Well, I think I can see your point, though you're not doing anyone any favours by calling a square a rectangle I reckon."
"Mh4u is a port of mhfu"
“The whole discussion seems to come from the fact that Thanatos insists on using not entirely wrong, but a bit misleading terminology. No use going deeper into that.”
I was right, you where wrong, everyone agreed and you couldn't answer a single one of my quotes with anything but insults, as usual, so seemed to go exactly as planned from my end.
I could see myself paying for a month here and there to be honest to play a couple of games I would otherwise not buy once Zodiac age, Elite and Skyrim Switch are all finished up.

I have remained positively optimistic about VII remake up untill this point..
"Additionally, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII main programmer Haoki Hamguchi is now leading development on Final Fantasy VII Remake for Square Enix."
At which point something inside me died. R.I.P VII Remake, you died before you had a chance to live.
