@asnakeneverdies: I feel like survival horror is the general term thrown out when a game has horror elements.

@Xristophoros: I don't know if the game will necessarily bomb, I'd expect it to sell more than Knack, it just isn't going to be a big hit compared to the likes of Uncharted, Horizon, God of War, or the Last of Us. I think the game will be a good open world game it just won't stand out amongst the crowd of other open world games and zombie games.

@Thanatos2k: that's what it seems like to me, just didn't want to call out Microsoft and have to deal with the "your just a Sony fanboy" BS. I wonder if this is the metric they'll use going forward in order to build the illusion of success.

I always hate that with movies. I laugh when a movie comes out in January and they pull the "best movie/highest rated movie of their year" line. Or with new horror movies it's always "the scariest movie of the year" "the best horror movie in years." Like how is it possible that so many movies throughout the year received very similar praise and taglines.

@Barighm: definitely. Like why even buy a game a launch when you can play it and, potentially, get your fill for a fraction of the price.

Now here's something I don't know. Do they change the game pass lineup every month or do the games on there usually stay?

I can't believe they are extending these shows by an hour. Way too long imo.

@alien-ouy: they do it so it feels like a special event whenever he shows up or fights. If he's there every week he is just another wrestler on the show. They try to book him similar to a title holder in UFC or boxing. The problem is people are tired of this routine after 3-4 years.

Chances are he'll hold the title until he breaks Punks record and then lose it shortly after.

Kind of a weird milestone. I wonder what this means for how Microsoft determines success for games going forward. Traditionally it's based on copies sold or money made but seeing as how all new Microsoft exclusives will be on Game pass at launch it might be difficult for them to determine the success of games based on those figures.

@olddadgamer: I agree but, at the same time, these are basically surprise announcements we just know when they are coming. I'm actually a little more excited now that I know we are getting some game reveals. Better than hoping for game reveals and getting nothing. Just hope these games are something to be excited about. At the end of the day that's what's most important.

@videogameninja:

But this one isn't really a leak. Sony themselves made this announcement. Maybe they are revealing the games early too avoid the possibility of leaks and spoilers before the show. Or, my wishful thinking, they have other surprises coming during the conference and they wanted to get some reveals out of the way now to make space during the show.

Although, the most likely and obvious option is that Sony is indeed using their conference to focus solely on the "Big 4" games they mentioned and they have no plans of any game surprises or announcements during their show. I hope this isn't the case but, either way, it's nice to know that Sony does indeed have some kind of game announcements to make which is better than nothing (which some people speculated about when they announced a focus on the "Big 4").

@Barighm: along those same lines you could look at it as Sony having to reveal these games early because their conference is already too jammed packed. If they are announcing a few games before E3 even starts then they have to have some suprises for the show...right?
