[QUOTE="louisfoxton"]

Mj and scottie wasnt a duo it was a trio it was mj,scottie and dennis

Dennis wasn't there for the first 3. It's amazing how when people talk about how "great" the supporting cast was for jordan they always talk about the second 3 peat. Feel free to go look at the first 3 peat. That supporting cast was average AT BEST. So yes it was a duo of jordan and pippen

Well i just tried to sign on to PSN for the first time since this whole thing happened and i get to my info page and it tells me i need to change my password before signing on. Which is fine. The problem is when i hit the "ok" button to change my password i keep getting a screen that says "An Error has occured (80710D36)". Has this happened to anybody else? If so what should i do? Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Would it be awesome if Steve Nash got traded back to Dallas and they hired Jerry Sloan.

deuce4eva

because Sloan and Nash have a track record of winning championships? They are fine where they are. This team isn't going to get much better (they'd be a little better with butler healthy). This is their chance. Lets see if they are good enough

[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]

[QUOTE="KBFloYd"]this is about kobe in his prime..which means 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003his defense was superb..he was a work horse.

KBFloYd

You're saying that Kobe has been washed up since 2003?

Wow, guess you don't like him that much lol

Kobe started his career with Shaq in his prime and was soon followed by the greatest coach in the history of the league, that helped a lot.

I on the other hand see Kobe's prime from 99-09 and I don't know because so far we only have about half of LeBron's prime played.

LeBron's career highs are equal or greater then all of Kobe's except Kobe's 3 point percentage is .032 higher and his free throw percentage is almost a whole point higher.

I'd say LeBron is the better player and if we look at the start of their careers it's ever farther apart with Kobe not even hittting 8/2/2 with 6 games started and a crazy 15.5 mins a game.

Then you have LeBron with 72 games started with over 20/5/5 playing just under 40 mins a night

It's tough because LeBron started his career with no one while Kobe got Shaq to do all the heavy lifting, LeBron just got help this year and he's in the finals so ehhhhh, I still go with LeBron

when i say 99-2003 that was kobes DEFENSIVE prime...after that he got very sloppy on defense.

oh and yes jasonguy, lebron is probably better because he can pass the ball... kobe was always very bad at that...the only pass kobe is great at is penetrating and handing it off to his center for a dunk or an ally oop...he was a perfect match for shaq.OH

shaq was not in his prime when he met kobe... he was coming down already.....it's just that kobe was such a perfect match that it made shaq seem like he just hit his prime but he was towards the end of it..by 2004 he was done in the nba.that title he won with wade...they barely pulled that off. miracle actually. however those years with lakers were his funnest years to watch. pure dominance.

That part right there has to be a joke right? He was in hist 5th year when he "met" kobe, and 24 years old. I had to have misinterpreted what you were trying to say cause that comment makes zero sense. He put up some of the most, if not THE MOST, dominating years in the history of this sport in the laste 90's early 2000's. If he was on his decline then, please point out when he was in his prime cause if that's not his prime i'd love to see when it was

I'm rooting for Dallas in my heart, but my head says there's just no way i can see Miami losing. With the 2-3-2 format i'll take Miami in 6. hope i'm wrong

It's the same thing with the movie Citizen Kane. It is widely regarded as the best film ever made, but if you watch it for the first time nowadays (as i did a few yrs ago) it's nothing special at all. But if you look at it from the perspective of what it was WHEN it was released you can understand how it did things no film before it did and how it redefined the way films were made. I'm not a Zelda fan in general, but that's what OOT did for video games and that's why it's so beloved

Well they have to be revolutionary or have had a significant impact on the genre to REALLY be a classic. For example my fav games this gen is the Uncharted series. But i can be honest, aside from the beautiful graphics theres not really anything that hasn't been done before in other games so i'm not sure they will have the lasting appeal compared to a game such as Little Big Planet for example, But that's just my opinion. what do i know?

[QUOTE="-Halftime-"]Nash didn't deserve either of those MVP's, that's commonly accepted. The other commonly accepted thing is that Nash will never sniff Kobe's jock as a player. Ever. He can have his 2 regular season MVPs. He'll never win 5 rings. Because he has always come up small in the postseason. The Mavs GOT BETTER when he leftandyboiii
FACT

I don't know i guess i'm in the minority on this one. I actually thought he deserved the MVP's those years, just as Rose did this year. But i have a specific definition for MVP and a lot of people don't. To me it's the most valuable person to their team, in relation to the teams success, during the REGULAR season. If i'm not mistaken the Suns were the number 1 seed in the West both those yrs (i know at least one yr and i don't feel like looking up the other, lol). And i also remembered that when Nash would be substituted for the back up pg would ALWAYS kill that teams flow. It's like they didn't know how to function without him.

I'm not saying Nash was the "best" player, i just felt he was the "most valuable" in relation to the teams success (number 1 seed) in the regular season. A lot of similarities between his awards and Rose's award this year. Different players asked to do different things but the end results with each of them as the team leader were very similar. But hey that's just my opinion

I just find it amazing that for the last 3 yrs i've heard how Kobe was on his way to being better than jordan cause he was winning rings and finals mvp's etc. Then they get swept this year and it's like Kobe is an afterthought. Now the comparison goes to Lebron. At least with Kobe you can argue talent AND accomplishments to an extent. But Lebron has as many rings as i do and the comparisons are ALREADY on. The media is such prisoneers of the moment it's ridiculous. Pippen makes one comment and it's like the top story on sportscenter. I will never address a comparison to Jordan until you have a MINIMUM of 5 rings. You want to debate Kobe vs Michael? cool. At least there's some sort of case with that one. But Lebron vs Michael? come on now. Get at me in 6-7 yrs and MAYBE i will take what some of these people are saying seriously

It won't matter cause the PS3 will still be the prodominant choice for the first year or so even with the PS4. The PS1 console and games still outsold the PS2 during it's first yr (PS2's launch lineup was horrible), and the PS2 outsold the PS3 it's first year + cause of the PS3 price and lack of good launch titles. It's a pretty consistent pattern. Even if the PS4 releases at the end of 2012 there prob won't be any need to get it until late 2013. So there is plenty of time left for the ps3. And that's just me GUESSING that it may come out late 2012. That may be very early for all i know
