Nobody has mentioned the obvious problem, and that's the support, or lack there of, from EA.

i,m 39 i,ll be 40 soon.:)

really? that old? wow. almost been gaming as long as gaming existed

My stepdad's mom, who's gotta be in her 60s or 70s, is a gamer. When I was little, she used to send me the NES games she beat after she done with them, including the Strategy Guides and/or Nintendo Power issues that went with that game. The most awesome step-grandma I could ever have! As far as I know she's still gaming, but I don't keep in touch with my stepdad so much. We just don't have any common ground to talk about other than family. -Nate-

Exactly. I had a next door neighbor who would have to be in her mid to late 50's by now buy me Dragon Warrior for the NES for my bday when i was younger. I never asked for it or anything, and to be honest never thought we were that close to where she would buy me a game. I'm not sure if she still plays but you would figure that if a woman in her mid to late 30's are playing games, that it's prob a safe bet she's still playing. And by the way i hated that game. LOL. And 20 years later i still hate RPG's.

It depends on what you mean by "compete". If you meant WIN the generation or come close, then no. But if you meant, being able to last the whole generation (6-7 yrs), and turn an overall profit then yes i think it could. Nobody has mentioned the obvious problem, and that's the support, or lack there of, from EA. Because it didn't have a DVD player it would have never finished number one, but if EA would have come around and had full confidence in sega sticking it out for the long hall and forgiving them for their mistakes of the past, and develop for the dreamcast, yea they could have went the distance. Maybe even to the point where there would have AT LEAST been discussions of making another console after the Dreamcast. just my opinion

I've watched every game of this series and if you ignore the score (i know that's hard to do, lol) and just watch the play on the ice in each game, Philadelphia LOOKS like the better team. Take away game 1 where it was a fluke of a game for both teams and it was a full blown shoot out, Philly has controlled the last 3 games (2-1 record). Which to me means that Chicago's goalie is going to have to be the difference. We'll see

I don't pay attention to any "top" or "best" list that don't have nes games on it. I understand that it's simply a site that averages reviews from other sites and they don't have any on the older games, but that doesn't matter. That's why gamestats.com is 10x better than gamerankings or metacritic when it comes to games because it has solid reviews from decades ago. It may not have anywhere near the amount of reviews as the newer games, but anything is better than nothing

I still think LA will win this series but game by game, round by round, i am seeing a very disturbing trend for the lakers, and i'd be worried if i was a fan. THEY CAN'T STOP ANYBODY. OKC, after they got their feet wet in the first game, scored at will. Utah scored at will. And now the Suns are scoring at will. The problem is that none of those teams have the size or the overall defensive ability to stop the lakers on a consistant basis - but Boston does. They can getaway with it in the Western Conference(the land of the 6'8 centers), but not against the Celtics. And i'm honestly shocked more so called "experts" aren't pointing this out.It is becoming more and more evident that we are going to see a repeat of two years ago. I could be wrong but at this point in the season, there aren't to many drastic changes that can be made. You are who you are.

Well, a hardcore fan of the show might also be more likely to be a Lost apologist and defend it against almost everything.

Apologist? LOST fans? Have you seen this show's fanbase?

I have, and I stick by what I said.

I agree with you and i'm one of those hardcore fans. This show can do know wrong in my book. But with that being said i really enjoyed the final episode. To all the people that didn't i am just wondering "How would you have ended the show"? I mean maybe a couple of the mysteries from throughout the years could have been explained better, either in the finale or throughout the final season, but other than that, what would you change? I thought the show was fitting. You knew that some way, some how, that group was all going to be together, and i am perfectly fine with the way it was done.

[QUOTE="Chiddaling"]Top Three Favorite Episodes: The Constant, The Candidate, Ab Atereno Least Favorite Episodes: What Kate Does, Fire + Water, Expose Season Ranking (Best To Worst): Season 6, Season 1, Season 5, Season 4, Season 2, Season 3 Favorite Character: John Locke (Jack 2nd, Desmond 3rd) Most Emotional Moment: Sun & Jin's Death (Or when Kate, Hurley and Jack are crying when they reach shore) or Boone's Death with Claire's baby Least Favorite Characters: Ana Lucia, Phil

Those are some good picks but i would have to put Ben Linus in for favorite character. Michael Emerson acted his ass off with that role. Sometimes there are good roles that anybody can play and would be successful (Jeremy Piven on entourage. there is nothing about him that another actor couldn't do), but than there are roles in which a particular actor makes that character jump off the screen in a way another actor couldn't do. That was Emerson w/ Ben Linus
