I say get the wii u now and sit back on the xbox. Let's be real, how many consoles are worth getting at launch? Other than the dreamcast I can't remember a console that's launch lineup is so great that it makes me want the system day one. Plus there are often problems with the first batch of consoles (RROD anybody) that takes a while to get ironed out. The xbox isn't going anywhere. Get it in a year or so when the good games are starting to roll out. I've never bought a console at launch. Sometimes I wait a couple months, sometimes a couple yrs. but that's me

[QUOTE="sixringz1"]Did you know? The real Mike Tyson can't even beat Glass Joe. Yea i saw something on that. A 5 yr old who just smashes buttons can beat Glass Joe. Not sure i'm buying that oneIt's the only legacy console I own (I'm not counting my backwards compatible ps3). I keep it for one game, and one game only. Mike Tyson's Punch out. It's the only game I own for the system, and to this day my favorite game of all time.
There's something about beating Tyson. When that game came out he was literally referred to as "the baddest man on the planet". He was a great "real life" villan, and an even better one in the video game. I don't even acknowledge that garbage replacement they put out with "mr dream" once Tyson's contract expired. There's no allure to beating "mr dream" (even if he had the same moves). It felt like you really accomplished something beating Tyson because it was damn near impossible to do so in either real life or the game.
To this day I've only witnessed, with my own eyes, one other person besides myself to beat Tyson. I guess that game to me is like donkey kong is to Steve weibe (sp). Lol. I play it every month or so just to make sure I "still got it"

Great pic. Never seen the black dreamcast without the "sega sports" logo on it. Didn't know they made a black one without that sega sports logoThe black Dreamcast

[QUOTE="sixringz1"]I question any list that does not have the NES at or near the top. Yet your list doesn't have it at all. Dr-GentlemenA lot of people don't have your same opinions. Each of that list was a different person. Everyone is different, and I know this because I am a Dr. :) So what reasons do you put the NES on top my buddy? Then i can put it on the list. It was the introduction to some of the most historical franchises in the history of video games. There are plenty other reasons but that alone is enough to have it up near the top. Doesn't have to be number one by any means but you listed nearly 20 consoles and it wasn't one. Just a little surprising. But hey you're entitled to your opinion. If you, or the people you talk to think the sega cd and virtual boy are worthy of being mentioned as possibly the best consoles of all time and the NES isn't, that's cool
