[QUOTE="Tjeremiah1988"][QUOTE="MoonMarvel"] They have never had the heart, and Phil doesn't know how to give it to them. Why is he giving time to players that are shooting poorly? Why is he allowing Kobe to shoot so much? Even MJ didn't shoot this much.MoonMarvelhey, lay off Phil already, hes the man. Man doesnt need to prove anything, he already has. Lakers straight up not playing good no matter who he puts in. Lakers came in this series with that mindset because they are the Lakers. "LOL Rockets, lol." I will not layoff Phil. He isn't caoching well this series or playoffs. He is allowing Kobe to chuck up shots when he should be passing and that LOL Rockets LOL feeling is his fault for not keeping the Lakers egos in check. Face it, he isn't as good as he used to be. Time for Phil to retire. What is this "allowing Kobe to shoot so much", like Kobe is some kind of puppet and phil pulls his string. That may work with Jordan Farmar or Luke Walton, but not Kobe. This is a players league, and more importantly a superstar driven league. Phil Jackson can diagram plays he can tell the players what he wants, but at the end of the day it is up to the players to perform. Phil can't go out and play the game himself. At some point the players need to take a look in the mirror because this is 2 years in a row that they have had the most talented team in the league. They choked last year, and although i'm not officially ruling them out this year, they look like they've regressed this year. And i know Kobe Bryant is GOD to all you Laker lovers but if they choke AGAIN it will be ON HIM. He is the leader of this team and it is his responsability to have his teammates play up to their ability. Elite players don't let their team, WITH SUPERIOR TALENT, lose in the playoffs - PERIOD. There's a reason Jordan is 6-6 in the finals. He wouldn't let his team lose. Like i said, Phil is the coach and can call plays and substitute players, but at the end of the day it is up to the players to perform up to their ability, and thus far the Lakers haven't. With that being said, I'd be STUNNED if they don't win game 7 by double digits

You all may think i'm crazy for saying this. But that 3rd quarter was the most impressed I HAVE BEEN with the Lakers this playoffs. This was the first time i looked at that team in the midst of adversity and they actually showed some heart and were fighting back. They didn't play the "oh well, we'll get them at home in game 7, no big deal" card. Now whether or not they can come back and win this game, who knows, and it prob won't matter anyway because they SHOULD win game 7 anyway. But at least they are actually playing hard and showing some urgency. I don't think they are consistant enough with this effort to win the whole thing, but at least they are showing some life.
sure it's possible. It's also possible i'm gonna hook up with Megan Fox this weekend. It's possible:roll:
this doesn't even deserve a response, but yet i did it anyway. Absolutely ridiculous. Stick to the **** VS. **** post that you do so much

[QUOTE="MoonMarvel"]You are wrong, let it go. I am not the only one to say this about you.AHUGECAT
When Kobe doesn't get the ring this year will you admit I was right?
Let it go. Even if he doesn't you are still wrong. In case you hadn't noticed basketball is a team sport. Oh and BTW, multiple people here think I want the Lakers to lose and I even said they didn't deserve the title before the playoffs started. Move on ok?Kobe has a great team, he just isn't MVP quality. And now you are just trying to avoid the embarrassment of a Lakers loss.
Lakers are 10-1 in the last 11 playoff games that Joey Crawford has reffed.
The Lakers are only 9-8 in the last 17 playoff games that Crawford has not been the ref.
I bet Stern is going to put Crawford back in this series. Let's see people say the league is not fixed.
[ /QUOTE]Are those statistics on Joey Crawford legit? Do you have a link to that. I'm not saying you're lieing or anything but i would really be interested in seeing statistics like that
there was a post about this 2 months ago that had a link to an article that said all this already. Why is everyone acting like this is the first time they've heard this? It was great to hear about it then and it's still great
that was an absolute disgrace. It's onething to lose but to lose in the manner they did. They showed little to no effort until the 4th quarter when it was too late, and they played ZERO DEFENSE. They should apologize to their fans for that performance. Magic said it best at halftime "This is just embarrasing"
I can't believe everyone just let this pass. You have spent this whole post saying how bad kobe is and that the lakers are too soft and now you are saying "i'm officially going for the Lakers" Man you are a joke.I'm officially going for the Lakers if the Lakers make it to the Finals against the Cavs.

Ever since watching him pitch a game against the Jays last year I knew he'd be good, just never knew he'd be this good. Definitely Cy-Young unless he gets injured. BTW, has anyone gotten a run in against him, other than the Jays, who got 2? 8)
He just lost last night, all be it 1-0. Can't really blame him for that one. You give up 1 run you would expect your team to win 99% of the time, espcecially in the ALi guess you didn't understand what my post said.
