hey guys

so i created a psn account , and after i finished i added a ps3 , they want to register my ps2 by entering its serial number

i chose a country near me to access psn (cause its not available here)

so should i be registering my console , or i might get banned or something ?

thx

harrypotter_fan

I always register my Playstation consoles on Playstation website-If nothing else, you've always got a copy of your consoles serial number should you ever be unlucky enough to be burgled

I haven't gotten it yet, for those who have it what do you guys think so far?

I won't be bothering-The whole reason i got rid of my 360 over my PS3 was to stop paying the price of Gold Live membership.

Is the 120GB version the CEH-2101A(B) newer chip version? Plan on buying the 120gb, Please help, I heard some stores carry the older chip or the first gen chip which is 65nm (CEH-2001), please help, and thanks for all the replies.

PS3 lover, either hot or cold, both taste great! and it has way more flavor than the Xvos tree sixy.

Doesn't really matter what version it is-You get the same 12 months Sony warranty with any PS3,and so far all the slims seem pretty problem free.Plus, doesn't matter what version you get cos there's always newer in the pipeline,so it's basically not worth worrying about.

Mine "heats up" within 20 minutes. I've heard its common. It also "farts" (the plastic expanding).

dimis_

Yea- I get that with my February purchased 120Gb slim-It makes loud cracking noises regularly, but never causes any problems.

I have the PS3 slim and I would like to play my PS2 games on it as well! But unfornately PS2 games are not compatible.

UltimateRAGEX

Sony will never do it cos they are most likely gonna be selling PS2 games to download from Playstation store in near future+just think of the £s/$s they will make?

Answer me this: How often do PS3's experience general hardware failure?

Just take a look on ebay for ps3s-any Phat model and it'll open your eyes to just how big a problem it is!

I bought my 60 PS3 in Feb of 07 and it died last week. And guess what killed it? CODMW2. I have posted a thread on this a while back, but with now real help. When i would play Uncharted 2 and CODMW2 after a while of playing, it would beep and then shut off. I could play any other game for hours with no prob. I called Sony and they had no clue but to send it in. I am going to buy a Slim when i get the cash. This stinks!

Dont really matter what games you're playing on your 60GB cos they all seem to suffer ylod after roughly 2-3 years cos the thermal paste inside them basically melts
