My ps3 slim bluray drive is broken, I bought it 10 months ago, don't have the receipt. Sony says you need the receipt to get it fixed for free If I were to get them to send me a shipping box and I just send it to them without the receipt anyways.... what will they do? Is there any chance they will go ahead and do it for free?ercyoung

I used to love playing Battlefield 2-Modern Combat online.Is it still possible to play it online,or have the servers been shut down now?-only i will re buy it if you can still play online.

About time!The only reason I don't use Netflix on PS3 is because of the lame disk thing, it's a tedious thing to do each time. But this is very good news to me, especially since it's getting improved. Anyone else pleased over this news?

Hi All.When i sold my old Elite i made sure i backed up all my game saves onto an official Xbox memory card.Now i'm thinking of buying the new xbox,will i be able to use the memory card on it so that i can copy my game saves onto the new hard drive?

Its got a very steep asking price but I'm wondering if its worth it at the moment. I'm aware you can get free things but I cannot find much. Thanks All.Tomspur97

Looks to me as you'll be paying for the stuff we were getting for free just a few weeks ago,apart from the free full games-which,so far,aren't ones i'd want anyhows.

but i really feel the hot air coming from the back panel and the cables gets realy hot and the cover near the back is hot as well .

is this normal ?

and by the way when i play some games i can hear the ps3 body giving a sound like a "crack" like the body is stretching or smthn

is this normal too as it is new?

Perhaps the newer version slim wont have the cracking noise-Thats the one with the even smaller chipset,that will run cooler than present slims.

i think it still looks ok both played on my PS3 and PS2-I recently re-bought the game and Oddworld Exodus both on the original disc versions

And if so, will Sony cover the repair even if the console is out of warranty?
