@HD_ITeRRoRiZeI: the fact remains they are comparable.....if i can play the same game on BOTH then they can be compared.......you cant brush that off....."the facts will always remain"........
@howthegodzkill: no i get what your saying but how many AAA games make it cell phones or Ouya???....and how many games like fruit ninja made it to consoles??? i get they all can game but im just talking about the consoles at this point......
@swillermann: yes you will need the new version of HDMI for the stuff that is 4k......and i like i said SPDIF can come in coax or fiber......most TV's have fiber but some have coax......coax is just a RCA connector like the old red white and yellow connectors so any good RCA cable you already have will work just fine for coax......if its fiber you will need to get a fiber optic cable.......also you may have to turn on the SPDIF output in the TV options by turning the on board speakers off so look in the TV's manual to see if its on by default........the SPDIF out put should pass on all digital signals DTS or AC3 that the TV is getting.....
@theduckofdeath: but we dont know for sure what will be in the Scorpio (other then it wont be a ZEN based CPU as the X86 version wont be out until 2018)........will have to wait and see what they really use to find out.....
@nVxx: but that is just it.....the games will still be made for consoles level of hardware........i understand how close they are now with the CPU and GPU they used but optimization is still going to do a lot for games on consoles.....a PC of the same level of TF is never going to be able to run the game at the same level the console will....that is what SUCKS.....
@masscrack: see i got lucky......i have bright house for cable were i live and they have had PC app for watching live TV on PC for almost 5 years now......so i got rid of all my cable boxes and put a cheap computer in every room with a TV.....little work with keybindings and i was even able to get normal cheap media remotes to change channels numbers and all......so with that in my living room i can already stream in real 4k with a 2gb 7750 i have in that PC.....it has a 4 core Athlon CPU, 4gb of DDR3, the 7750 and a bunch of left over harddrives in it.......my real world costs of building it with a new 3tb harddrive im in it for about 130 bucks total as it sits right now......most people are paying almost 25 bucks a month for DVR service and box rental........so after the first 6 months it was saving me money.....plus i found a way to record live TV from the app and even got a used TV tuner that will take a cable card to record 3 things at one time total......
so what im saying is i dont have a cable box and the box that replaced it does everything i need to watch any tv show or movie on the planet......plus i can upgrade this box for cheap to add anythings that comes along.......so me myself and i only need consoles for gaming....
@howthegodzkill: im not busting any ones balls but i have a 34 grand new runco 3d ready projector that will do a 300 inch screen......i only download 10 bit bluray rips to watch on it......and it must have 5.1 AC3 at the min if not DTS......i have over a 100k worth of A/V gear but have less then 10 grand in all of it.....my projector was all of 3 grand when it was 2 years old because i got it at a estate sale(THANKS STUPID RICH KIDS you never knew what daddy spent on it!!!)......the legacy whisper speakers i have cost me 500 bucks because some rich moron dropped them off at good will of all places.......the krell mono block amps i have running them were all of 2 grand for the pair......
so what im saying is even people with high end stuff still watch torrents......and i love my pile of used junk......
