@Tegorian: Can't help but feel they'll release two versions of the console, one meant to cater to those just wanting a taste of a "premium" experience, and another version with bell and whistles for those who want to go all in and take their premium experience to the next level in more hardcore fashion.

MS has made it clear Scorpio isn't meant for everyone

@boogeyman64: Scorpio will steal the hardware advantage, but it won't end up on top.

The PS4 and it's variations (the Slim and the Pro) combined have doubled the sales of the XB1, and seeing as how the Scorpio is just another version of the XB1 (according to MS) you can bet your ass it won't overtake the PS4 in sales, especially worldwide.

When it comes to sales MS has lost this generation of consoles, there's no "coming back on top" unless you're referring ONLY to the hardware advantage.

@TheAleksMG: People have every right to be disappointed since the game was most likely close to it's expected release, and it's not unfair to say that some people might have bought an XB1 JUST for this game.

Is all lost over this? Of course not, but to cancel a game that seemed to be right around the corner, especially announcing it RIGHT AFTER the holiday season when some people might have bought an XB1 in preparation for this game, seems awfully dishonest and planned. Like they didn't want to reveal this news until AFTER all sales were final.

@livedreamplay: Of course I mean graphically, but if you ask me, games like Skyrim (especially modded on PC) and GTA5 have met or surpassed what RDR brought to the table.

RDR is a beautiful game, but it's world is mostly empty space with NPCs, animals, and locations sprinkled throughout. Skyrim and GTA5 have WAY more going on in their worlds.

Scorpio will finally be revealed with game trailers featuring graphics you won't see in the final versions (this will be for games like Halo 6 and another MS exclusives), older titles will be shown with graphical improvements to give people an idea how the Scorpio will benefit current software.

We'll come to find 30fps will still be the norm, especially for most games running in 4K with better graphics, but some games will still run at 60fps like their vanilla XB1 versions (Call of Duty, Battlefield/Battlefront)

MS will announce a $600 version with a 1TB harddrive, and an Elite version for $700 with a 2TB harddrive, more USB ports, and it will come boxed with an Elite Controller

One of my predictions :)

@Mirimon78: However you view the "sales" of the 360 in America, there's no denying the console got quite a bit of support IN America, you can't deny that lol. The 360 was a popular console in the US, I know, I worked at Gamestop when it launched, and it was a frenzy lol

PS3 appealed to people worldwide, but the 360 did very well in the US and UK.

@nukestorm: From what I understand the millennial generation were those born in between 1977 and 1994, I'm 35 and I would still say I'm too old to fit into what people describe these people to be THESE days. Perhaps it's more fair to refer to them as "modern millenials" lol, you know, those entitled hipster brats that vape, have beards, shave one side of their head, wear neckscarves in the summer, and wear plaid everything.

@livedreamplay: I was kinda/sorta being snarky, but I know Xbox fans love getting all these BC games, it's a nice feature for sure.

For me it's not that big a deal. I tried going back and playing Red Dead Redemption and Gears of War 2 and couldn't, MAN those games haven't aged well, especially when PC gaming has been a big part of my gaming life for the last two years.

@phili878: It's not a bad thing, I just find it humorous. They announced a cancellation, and then two days later announce BC games.

And no Millennial here, I'm too old for that crap
