If, and I do stress IF, they decide to do a Silent Hill 2 remake I really hope they give it the RE2 remake treatment.

What I mean is a complete from the ground up remake solely for next gen consoles that remains true to the original while adding in extra bits of side story that expound on the events that transpired in that installment.

Something like that could go a long ways to bringing back renewed excitement in a potential future numbered installment in the series (not a remake.).

I've always wanted to go to the Superbowl of gaming but just never had the opportunity or funds.

Perhaps if it does come back I will get that chance but I wouldn't be surprised if we have seen the last of it. I'm hoping we will but...

Regardless of whether it actually accomplishes that feat Nintendo has got to be really happy with how things turned out for the Switch.

Say what you want about the big N but they are clearly doing something right.

The way all these streaming services are jacking up their prices, adding terrible content, putting in tier based systems for adds etc... it just makes you wonder if getting rid of them all is the best strategy.
