@theend3r @Its_MitchConnor i got news for everyone. its only gonna bleed over more in the next few years.

this time its going to open the eyes of a lot of console players, and many of them are going to switch to PC to avoid the bullshit console wars of "exclusives" because that shit is redundant now. its over.

see, this next-gen console crap is not going to be able to pull the wool over your eyes for much longer. they are made of pc architecture, which means that its the same code. that means every "exclusive" that is found on ps4, xb1... will also be found on PC.

every. single. game.

these consoles can't prevent emulators this time around. its game over. microsoft and sony are stuck trying to make their devices some sort of cable tv bundle device at this point. don't be a sucker. get a pc and have best of both worlds.

this has the potential to be dragon age 2 all over again. the choice of voice actors is crucial. they have to nail it. dragon age 2 was horrible in this department (among many other departments)

@DanielDude97 @wowgrandpa @001011000101101 this single game isn't going to compel me to run out and buy an ancient piece of tech that is just gonna collect dust when i'm done playing it.

news flash though.... next gen consoles won't have a single exclusive that the PC will not see! x86 architecture = emulators, so it would be wise for companies to also release pc versions immediately if they want to prevent that extra profit from slipping away.

and as for the old current gen exclusives like the rockstar stuff, they are likely porting that stuff over once their exclusivity contract expires with sony (can't port red dead redemption to PC until ps3 is replaced by ps4)

i'm sure it will head to XBLA on XBone when the time comes.... hell, i wouldn't rule out psn.

but Epic Games told everyone they were sick and tired of waiting for next gen to come. old-gen consoles were holding them back so they decided to leave the development of this one to PC only, meaning no old consoles.

but it will be an easy port to the new consoles since its all the same x86 architecture this time around.

on the flip side to that new revelation, that means all exclusive titles that hit each console will also be found on PC, because if they don't release for PC, the emulators will bring it to PC for them and then nobody gets paid so...

and this is also why consoles are losing relevance in the living room. pretty redundant device without the exclusives.

@Lost_Omega@wowgrandpa to publishers and their shareholders, AAA is code for big profit. profit has nothing to do with quality.

an indie game doesn't reach a large enough audience or have enough profit per sale to be considered AAA to them and their shareholders. plain and simple.

see, AAA has become just another term in the industry that doesn't sit well with the gamers, it is associated with other terms like day 1 dlc, pre-order exclusives, premium member, etc.

so these big wigs want to try to get out there and try to brainwash us into thinking they care about us, that when they refer to AAA they don't mean what we think...

its like mitt romney gets caught talking behind closed doors about the 47%, and then tries to come out in damage control mode to try to redefine what he meant when he said it.

and this guy is trying to redefine the word AAA. its already been redefined!

you would think AAA would be in regards to quality, but that's just nonsense. if that were the case there are hundreds of indie titles that should be called AAA. and plenty of shitty $60 games that sold tons of pre-orders before the reviews could warn people that it was garbage and immediate gets a price cut within 2 weeks.

in the video game industry, AAA is based on a big marketing budget. period.

hype train = AAA.
