WOW a free game......how about a game designed for the new Xbox which uses all of the extra "grunt" under the hood. Not just a shinier version of a game which can be played anywhere. Crackdown has been delayed which should ring alarm bells. If M$ are struggling, why would another dev waste time and money to implement improvements, when its going to have a small install base.
Here in UK we've only had limit stock, as it's not really wanted. Also watch M$ spin that into "sold out"

The Xbox is aimed at those who'd waste money on elite controllers. The only people I've ever know to use them are Professional players and kids. I really don't know any adult who'd drop all that money. Same with new Xbox everyone I know says the same thing. They'll wait 6 months for price drop as it's still too pricey, plus by then hopefully, they'll be games designed for it also. Not just shinier versions of old games.

It's like the couple on Facebook who keep saying how happy and in love with each other every 5 mins, then split up 3 weeks later. It's media spin that's all.
Here in UK it's so unwanted M$ have been limiting stock to mainly cover preorders and because the preorders were lack luster no matter what M$ say, they know once 1st batch sold, there's not going to be a huge rush, same as with the One they dont want huge piles gathering dust.
Also from what I hear chatting to friends etc, anyone over the age of 25 will have at least 1 PC/laptop at home for work etc. So why pay £450 for a mid range PC locked to a limited OS.
Much better either build to same pecs for £450 and limit yourself. Or spend a few more £1's and build an amazing PC. I know what most "adults" are doing....
@simonspearman86 There's plenty of articles on line, from retailers talking about the limit stock in UK. How M$ are only releasing enough to cover per-orders. They just don't want the embarrassment of piles of unsold Xboxs like last time.:

no £450 is not cheap for whats on offer, a mid range PC. Which will struggle to hit 4k 60fsp on anything but most basic of games. You can build a PC for same price, then you got best of both worlds instead just Xbox.
Well as I'm 40+ and speaking to my mates that still game etc, most ditched Xbox after the last debacle.....you see they arnt fanboys like you (buying 2), yes they gamed Xbox 360 but only cuz from their point of view it was best that gen. But once M$ tried forcing the kinect on them and the saw the power difference the either got PS4's or purchased PC and see no need for Xbox anymore.

No where in my 1st post did I say anything about Credit etc, you've just jumped in started talking and confused the whole thing.
There is literal nothing new available for Xbox. Hence the reason that every adult I know who has Xbox gona wait at least 6 months before buying. Main reasons being inevitable price drop, games becoming available which are designed for the extra grunt, not just another layer of gloss and see what nasty tricks M$ play.
It's only going to be purchased by small amount of people in UK, hence why they're only releasing "limited stock" . They know they've got the parents money on the per-orders. Yet haven't seen the uptake of adult gaming community. If they did they'd release more stock../.
