@NoahRoalson My biggest problem with BF3 was the ridiculous amount of DLC content that released for it. The fact that the DLC has a higher value than the disc itself is fucking ABSURD.
@zanyboy786 @yearssomuch @steelmouth Now I'm a homosexual, as though I could be insulted by that in the first place. Good try, dipshit. Got anything else?
I loved Battlefield, up until the moment EA decided that it should be a direct competitor to CoD. Since then, Battlefield has seen a serious decline in quality, both in its game mechanics and its fanbase. Now, instead of focusing on what makes Battlefield great, they'd rather focus on what makes it 'so much better than CoD'.
This exact same thing happened when BF3 was about to launch. EA came out and said they're striving to dethrone CoD, which incited fanboy flamewars, which provided them with free advertising. Instead of focusing on making a proper game, they'd rather ride the coattails of the popular military shooter that came before it and paint their product as the 'alternative'.
So EA, promptly go **** yourselves. I don't want your mediocre garbage.
@Diablo-B It's more marketing fluff for BF4, they did the same thing when BF3 came out. They want to incite fanboy wars, because they know that both Activision AND EA have tons of mindless drones for their increasingly boring military shooters. They know that if they get the fanboys talking about 'superior' BF3 is to CoD, they'll get free advertising.
@Dasim64 @Toplinkar This generations life cycle has been longer than anything other generations life cycle, so what are you talking about? In terms of consoles, it seems to extend itself more and more as time goes on.
