If digital was 70% or less of the retail price, then there would be an advantage to that but as long as it's almost the same as the CD/DVD/BD price, no thanks. (talking consoles) Also, not everyone is lucky enough/willing to live in an area that offers high internet speeds.
Action based combat in Dissidia FF on PSP worked out very well and made it one of the best PSP games of all time for me. If they make the combat feel as fluid in XV as it was in Dissidia, it's going to be a great game. From the trailer I get kind of mixed up impressions though, as to whether the combat is lacking something or it's just the player doing not so well. Anyway, I'll see till after release and if it turns out to be good, it may be the reason for me to get a PS4.
I don't really follow GTA V so can any of you guys explain how the multiple protagonists are going to work? Is it gonna be like Guy A's story, Guy B's story and so on or will there be a global story witch certain uniqueness for each protagonist, basically meaning you can choose your favorite and hardly ever touch the other twos?
@agallo Totally agree with the social media part. I DON'T want to connect Twitter/FB/G+ or whatever account to my gaming account. I actually prefer to have my social and gaming life as separated as possible. I'm on the platform (not being specific since this stuff is happening on PC as well) to play games, not to chat and share my awesomeness with all my acquaintances.
Finally, to quote TB on this topic: "If I wanted to be social, I wouldn't be playing video games."
Funny looking at those arguments. "What if the game is not good?" - Who says you need to get it Day 1 or even during the first week/month after release? If it's an unfamiliar franchise, just wait and read through quality reviews, watch some informative gameplay and then decide. If it's a franchise you've been a fan of, chances are you have an idea of what you're gonna get. "I don't have the money to get it anyway." - Don't get it then. I don't know about the costs in your country but if I was getting less than $200 a month, there would be more important things on my list than games. Such as food, or place to stay at. Lastly, nowhere it is said that you need to play all the games that come out. If you have financial problems, just find a game you want to get, save up and get it. The game will feel much more valuable and you'll spend much more time playing it, since it will take you a couple of weeks/months to save up for another one.
Would be cool if the "Your price" was true. 33 EUR (~45 USD) for the whole thing for PC. That would make me get the game, in spite of the fact that I already have it. Even at the cheapest online retailers the DLCs alone cost over 30 EUR, 45 if you want them from Steam. So yeah, this would be a good deal.
