There have been a lot of bad calls throughout the series so far. How did the refs miss that Mickael Pietrus double dribble in the open court?:lol: Jordan Farmar did touch foul him when it happened, but I was kinda suprised that they did a no call for that and let both things slide.

Well I know it from Rasheed Wallace. I dunno if Sheed started it but he's the one who most famously says it. I would think he got it from pickup games growing up and just carried it over to the NBA.

I remember back in the mid 90s I was a Kings fan, and a Rockets fan (I loved Olajuwan, and Clyde Drexler--Drexler is my all-time favorite player.) I only liked the Rockets because of Clyde really, and because they beat the Knicks in the finals that year (I guess I originally rooted for them because my mom was a huge Knicks fan--lmao.) After Clyde retired though, I was only a Kings fan, and have been ever since. I've been a fan of basketball since like '93...too bad I'm not too good anymore :(

Kornheiser on the other hand is the most annoying commentator i've ever heard. Not only does he have limited football knowledge, he's not even funny on MNF. that's one of the reasons he decided not to be on MNF anymore

btw refs were letting them play in OT, the definitely let Lewis get away with an obvious hold on Odom during OT and they let kobe get away with that offensive foul so it cancels out

anyways yeah Howard and Turkoglo cost the Magic this game.  Their FT shooting is what caused  them to lose, all Howard had to do was hit 1 FT just 1 and he didn't.

Fisher also player of the game, he was clutch once again

That lack of concentration in the final minute of the 4th was more pitiful than any Kings meltdown this season. Seriously, up by 5 with 45 seconds to go and you cant close it out? Still, I'm pissed about this loss, and this isn't even my team [though I guess anybody's my team when they play against the Lakers.] That last minute in regulation was disgusting.

dude, did you always say some of the dumbest things ever? i have this memory of you being halfway decent, but wow, almost everything i read from you nowadays is crazy off base

van gundy is absolutely fantastic, probably the only commentator who notices so many of the little things other people just ignore. 

and word to whoever said they're not watching the finals anymore, LOL. gonna be so annoying to hear the kobe nut huggers. one thing i WOULD like van gundy to do is point out how even when kobe makes those tough long 2-pointers, talk about how they're the lowest percentage shot like you did in all the other preceding series, and how even if kobe makes those more often than anyone else in the world, it still prevents him from being an efficient offensive player and the magic will live with that every day of the week.

Either way, I hate Van Gundy as a commentator. You say he notices things people ignore, and I say they're ignored for a reason. All of the **** he says just sounds so irrelevant, and obvious. This, not counting all of the countless STUPID **** he says. The fact that he and Mark Jackson believed Jameer Nelson was an asset to the Magic in the 4th quarter because Jameer made two elementary passes to Dwight Howard should speak volumes on how good of a commentator he is. He sucks. Point blank, per-iod.

you need to calm down. it soudns like you're operating with too much hate in your system for no reason. listen to him objectively and he's amazing.

i hated mark jackson a year or so ago too, but he is also incredible. he has stepped up his game so much i am just blown away. he is also HILARIOUS. 

at any individual game van gundy announcers i could pick out a billion things that make him so good, so i'm going to call this bad timing. but he points out things no one points out, and they're definitely not irrelevant -- they're some of the most important things in basketball that everyone overlooks. he kept belaboring the turnover point for the magic, when that was so huge. they SHOULD have been up by a lot, but turnovers are the most costly plays in basketball. the TOs were a much bigger story than the missed FTs. he also kept hammering home about how stupid the magic were playing, which again, was HUGE. so many announcers in that position would be like, "yay things are going well for the magic, let's keep it positive." but nope, he keeps it real. they were making so many bone-headed plays it's like, wow, how did you guys even make it this far?

the jameer nelson thing was dumb IN HINDSIGHT, but at the time it was defensible -- nelson WAS looking better, and believe it or not the magic have had a hard time with entry passes all playoffs long so those were definitely praise-worthy situations considering the circumstances. that said, i can understand how you think he was reaching -- i thought it was a little light at the time too. the whole "yay jameer nelson is good" thing just blew up in their face because he played THE ENTIRE FOURTH QUARTER -- seriously, what was van gundy thinking.

i don't mind jackson as much as van gundy. at least with jackson you can get some good information, and relevant play by play. van gundy just babbles on about obvious information, and talks about his relations with his brother, and the van gundy family more so than the game. if he's not talking about how stupid the magic are playing [seriously, anybody with half a brain could tell you that the magic were playing stupid basketball--running up the floor and taking a jumpshot is 90% of the time a bad shot] he's babbling on about stan van gundy's non existant tie game. seriously, stfu jeff.

I migh have a gripe against him, because I've always hated the Knicks, and Van Gundy was more often than not a blubbering idiot when he coached in New York. Doesn't excuse the dumb things that come out of his mouth though. ill watch the game tommorow, and give you some nice quotables though, i cant think of anything right now.
