After seeing Pelosi's reaction: anyone else think she's going to sneak into that congressman's home tonight and strangle him in his sleep??

GabuEx

...with her legs.

Just looking at her face makes me think she's going, "Did... did he just yell something out in the middle of the president's speech? In my Congress? Somebody gonna get hurt real bad tonight."

Yeah you... shook me all night long...

Second quote is misattributed, was said by me. :P

But, anyway, how about some beer to get over our differences? Here's a bottle for you. Don't worry, it's safe.

:D

Dam, I just got a new laptop and it took me an hour to copy and paste that post together. What happens after all that time? I spell poison wrong and mix the quotes ups. This laptop pad is annoying; I'll definitely take some beer: better be Corona 8)

Oh come on, everybody knows it's all about Fat Tire or Red Tail Ale 8)8)

At least you didn't mention Miller Lite

Well have fun, I know for sure you won't be living a fullfilling life if all you do is listen to DREAM THEATER. If you want good prog metal, how about trying Suspyre, Beyond Twilight, Threshold, Ark, or Conception.

Well that was incredibly rude. At this point, I truely believe if he were to tell people to wash their hands after going to the bathroom, many of them would instinctively call him a liar. I never see any of these people offering solutions to any problems facing the country, their only purpose seems to be to do everything they can to thwart any progress the president tries to push forward irregardless of the message. But both sides have their issues I guess. I'm so mad at my country right now though--I really hope we can get pass all of this mess.

I wish that the current republican party would just tear itself in half already so that relatively moderaterepublican party can emerge, because the right wing nut jobs are being so ****ing moronic and loud that it is killing the entire party which is pushing the democrats into an even higher possition of power than they are already in. I am a registered democrat but I do not like the idea of a single ruling party.

Somebody throws a shoe at Bush; GS users than make a gif of it.

Somebody yells liar to Obama; GS users get offended.

I see a pattern here.

Even if he was a Congressman, it was just a comment.

[QUOTE="Oblivionfan10"][QUOTE="MgamerBD"] OMG 4 pics compared to a guy 9 months in election and is being bashed by the media everyday. You win *sarcasm*chessmaster1989

I don't think it matters, people still treated Bush poorly which kind of cancels out what you said about people never treating Bush badly. That's all limp was trying to point out

I think debating over which of them is/was treated worse is a completely pointless debate... >_>

Agreed.

1. Particularly when the issue in this thread as initiated was the behavior of a congressman in congress during the president's speech.

2. Folks can post examples of private citizen's acts all day, that is pretty much an infinite loop right there.

3. The justification that somehow because one dude or dudes are / were jerks that makes it ok for others to be so seems about as childish as it gets.

I think it's stupid to act that way. I felt the same way when democrats boo'd Bush during one of his state of the union addresses, or when they called Bush a loser and liar.

It's just disrespect, but it seems both parties do it

Absolutely dispicable and rude behavior. I cannot even begin to explain how innapropiate shouting the word "liar" to the President of the United States during a joint speech to Congress is. He's already released an "apology" statement. This is getting out of hand. When are people, espcially those we elect to represent our states, going to start showing respect to the President?

You have got to be kidding me, he's dispicable for speaking the truth? Our society has been reverted to a bunch of weakling ninny's and this is proof positive. If you can't handle an opposing position then you DEFINITELY do not need to have the position of president. Everything that Obama has said in almost all of his speeches has turned out to be a lie, why would this be any different?

More socialism on behalf of the people? No thanks! The people don't want this sham and it's quite obvious at this point, just thinking about this government running our health care is a frightening proposition. I can only hope gov'care fails miserably (as it appears to be doing on its own) and the free market can do what they can easily, and less intrusively, do better than the government.

Okay, I'm still waiting on the free market to do that... when exactly is that going to happen?
