Two days after the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004 the United States sent a $300million check to the relief effort. The response was basically: "What, that's it?"

The United States is in so much debt it isn't even funny (go to: http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/ after five seconds click refresh and watch how much it goes up). We're always sending money and all people do is complain, you don't think we could keep it?

I understand that the war is a big controversey, but after Sept 11, when over 3000 people were murdered (remember that?), everybody was pretty much for it. George W. Bush is still fighting because he's standing up for what he believes in. Is that a bad thing? I think not.

I'm on your side, but GB hadn't really won, they were pretty much treading water. Another wave would have sunk them if not for the intercession of the US (and the USSR opening up another front). Plus, even the treading of water was only made possible by the Lend-Lease act which gave GB access to desperately needed American aid.

Lets not forget that most of the anti-America attacks are from people like Hugo Chaves and Fidel Castrol (who aren't very nice guys and rule with an iron fist.)
