Since I'm not all familar with many teams in the NHL, what is, to you guys, some of the most physical teams? Like the Steelers and Ravens in the NFL.
It wouldn't be too far fetched to say that the Flyers have traditionally been a pretty physical team, same as the Bruins, but you probably know that. :vSince I'm not all familar with many teams in the NHL, what is, to you guys, some of the most physical teams? I really only know the big teams in the NHL without looking at the standings, and I'm not very familar with their characteristics.Since I'm not all familar with many teams in the NHL, what is, to you guys, some of the most physical teams? [QUOTE="sherman-tank1"]This. What happened? Crosby scored a backhand from a rather tight angle. :PAw, I was hoping he get another concus- I mean awesome!:D[QUOTE="Swanogt19"]did what just happen? gameeer1
Yeah, its good he recovered from the concussion, but now all we're going to hear is SIdney Sidney SidneyLos9090
exactly...I am happy he's back, but there are a bunch of other players that are pretty talented too. Listening to Barry Melrose glorify Sid the Kid has been tough enough, having to hear nothing else...man, they're a sure fire to win the Cup, based on all this hype ;)

before last night's game, they were tied for 1st in the conference. add one of the best in the league to the team. kinda makes sense, doesn't it?Reimer is coming back soon! Hallelujah!
And idk if anyone has said it yet (and I'm to lazy to go check), by my calculations...Crosby has more goals than Scott Gomez since last February and has the same number of points this year (with 2 more goals).
Single space?A solid first period all around, hopefully they keep it up for the next forty and then I can get back to being frustrated about writing a 10 page essay.

Whats annoying is that Barry Melorse is going on and on how Sid needs to be "protected". I don't know what he meant by that. Fines for players that put a good hit on him? Officials caving into Sid's whining? Penguin players getting free reign to go after guys that rough up Crosby?Boston vs. Buffalo for the first time since Lucic hit Miller. I think we can all agree that someone will fight Lucic this game. I have heard some people think that Boston should start Rusk so no one takes a run at Thomas. Thoughts? Swanogt19I think the Bruins have a really good chancd at losing. That Sabre team will have some serious vengance.

no, that illegal hits MUST be called and punished. as it should be regardless of who's being hit. so many illegal hits are not properly penalized.
I give Regehr a ton of credit for standing up to Chara, even though he got owned. Same goes for Gaustad. A little late to defend your goalie, but to still fight them...wow.
I also give Chara credit for not continuing to punch Regehr after he was down.
Classess pos Stafford is going out of his way to hit Thomas. I know what Lucic did was stupid but do you really take it out on Thomas? Take it out on Lucic.
And they won. Down by two goals, twice in the game. And if even they didn't win the shootout they should would have gotten a point from OT. Swanogt19I don't like shoot outs. I swear every time I watch my life is cut down by a week.
I don't like shoot outs. I swear every time I watch my life is cut down by a week. Good to see the Sabres save face, even though they lost in the SO. They need to continue with that type of mentality and not be intimidated...even when there is a team that has the big bodies like Boston[QUOTE="Swanogt19"]And they won. Gustavsson comes up big in the shootout and Lupul gets his redemption after the ref refused to make a f***ing high stick penalty against Dallas.
Steckel and Gunnarson appear to be out and it looks like Zigomanis will finally get called up to replace Steckel on the dot.
I'm getting more and more presently surprised by this team. Lose your best best faceoff man and most consistent Dman? No problem! They keep winning games on the road, something they rarely did last year (their 7th road win came in January last year). Gustavsson has been very, very good, and I was happy to see him win a close game for once, other than the 7-1 games. Lupul has had a breakout year, and the rookies (Fratin, Cobourne, Gardiner), have been great. Burkie and Wilson have a very difficult decision to make when Grabo comes back next week of who to send down. Probably Cobourne, but he has looked really goodGustavsson comes up big in the shootout and Lupul gets his redemption after the ref refused to make a f***ing high stick penalty against Dallas.

And there is even depth on the Marlies now. Call up 6 or 7 players from the minors? No problem, we'll go on a five game winning streak while they are gone.Gustavsson comes up big in the shootout and Lupul gets his redemption after the ref refused to make a f***ing high stick penalty against Dallas.
