I have to see it in HD on the Marketplace, it looked great.

Looking great. Very excited to play it, but I still think GOTY is going to GTAIV.

New trailers shown at E3 were very nice for Halo 3.

Looked ok.

Though I'd have to say that Call of Duty 4 looks a generation ahead of Halo 3 imho.

I was hating Peters "halo this bla bla, halo that, franchise this", but ive gotta say that final trailer was sweet. I'll defitnaly be getting it on launch day methinks.

that was so freaking pathetic when G4 cut it off :lol: good thing the Gamespot feed was delayed about 15 seconds, I just opened up the vid player, and didn't miss anything.

It looked great, Halo isn't about the graphics anyways. It has the best gameplay.

Can't wait for it!

No, you shouldn't I completely agree.

Looked ok.

Though I'd have to say that Call of Duty 4 looks a generation ahead of Halo 3 imho.

I wouldn't say so.Halo 3 has a different artstyle with alot of colors and such.COD4 looks better, but not how much u make it sound.

Gotta condense these stickies Casey. I mean the "casey's rules to not get modded", "system wars info", and "system wars rules" could be made into ONE topic. Not3 seperateones. Also, all these newer stickies are taking up more and more space. I mean now we have more stickies than ACTUAL threads.

Just a thought.

People actually thought that looked amazing? wow i was really underwhelmed by the trailer, it looked like well Halo nothing new nothing jaw dropping.-Sir-Poof-

Halo 3 looks like more of the same Halo 2 SP

impressive,but i wished we could see bungie actually playing it live like the other titles shown.

It dosent look like the most graphically impressive game on the planet, by a mile, but it simply looks like really good fun to play.

Thats what got me exited about it - the game play footage, not the visuals.

Most people here are fanboys and serious gaming addicts. That's all they have to talk about. Self Control doesn't exist in system wars.

It's just more work for you really. I mean even though there's a sticky, threads like this still come up andyou have to lock them. If I were you I'd just relax and let the flood of useless and repetitive threads pass. It'll be over in like 2 hours.

If you go to bungie you can download the HD version of the 3d video of halo 3, and see just how bad the graphics look :(

Worst E3 show ever 3/4 of the footage show was stuff I have been watching for months now on IGN and gametrailers.com Not to mention that stupid new controller announcment :lol: Horrid horrid show.

I guess I'm just a little bitter.

Had this been a launch game, I wouldn't mind. But the Xbox 360 has been out for awhile.Games like GRAW, Gears, CoD, BioShock, Battlefield,etc...have taken the leap into using a next generation engine. They are really using the power of the 360. Destructible environments, more polygons,bump mapping galore, physics, etc etc....Real Killer Graphics that make you say WOW.

Now we have Halo 3, the flagship Xbox game. And bungie is simply using the same old engine with a new coat of paint. Pathetic.

Since I saw some people say Haze looked better than Halo 3 heres something so you can decide for yourself.

Pretty much my sentiments....

Was it the trailers? No

Did the graphics completely blow me away like CoD4? No

Will it be good? Yes

Part of me thinks some of that footage was multiplayer. It may just be the low quality video+fullscreen but I'm pretty sure I saw more than one MC in a couple of scenes.

I was hoping after i watched the video in 720p i would be blown away but im still not impressed. I didnt feel anything. There was some cool battle scenes. Things seemed alittle choppy at times to. In all honesty. At some parts it felt like halo2 and looked like halo2.

Soo... i'm seeing two entirely different looks on the game so far. People have either said "best graphics yet" or "meh"

Go to Bungie.net, download the HD trailer, look at the new screens. This game extremely impressive.
