[QUOTE="Inconsistancy"][QUOTE="jokeisgames2012"]there were 302 1969 camaros rated at 290 horse but they were actually pushing 500+ hpjokeisgames2012
302 in^3 = 4.94889 L, the 4.58L @ 560 hp is 122hp/L, they'd need more than 600hp to be equal liter for liter.
And that's not unleaded anyway (leaded allows for higher compression ratio).
yes it is the 1969 camaro won the trans am series with the 302. No, in the 60's we used leaded fuel, that allows for a higher compression ratio, and more hp/L because of it, even with that advantage it's not able to beat the 458's engine in hp/L and I'm also willing to put money on the 302 being a heavier engine to begin with.302 in^3 = 4.94889 L, the 4.58L @ 560 hp is 122hp/L, they'd need more than 600hp to be equal liter for liter.

The 1969 Camaro weighed 3800lbs, an Italia weighs 3200.
Also the Ferrari F40 (1987--1992) was 1,100 kg (2,400 lb), 2.9 L 497hp (turbo)
you never see foreign top fuel drag cars because they suck compared to american.jokeisgames2012
No, the rest of the world just doesn't enjoy crap turning left all day, and seeing cars only drive in a strait line.

Drag cars generally aren't street legal, and even the lesser ones that are street legal aren't all that brilliant on the road. In a real race, on a proper race track (that's not all left turns or a strait line) those cars are utterly worthless and would probably have trouble keeping up with a Honda Civic.
But if you're talking about race only cars and weight, a F1 weighs 640kb (1410lbs) and has 800+hp of course they're biased towards the ability to turn and are heavily regulated and much less powerful than they could be if they were allowed to go all out.
find me bore and stroke for your crappy car u bragging about and 426 hemi will still beat it jokeisgames2012
What a useless comparison, you really can't gather anything about a cars performance from that alone.
Besides that the 458's a smaller engine, and the ratio is about the same.

smaller piston=sh1t periodvideo cards can suck a peen. the more complex something is the most chance u have it breaking lol like new cars all these electronics and computers are harder to work on than muscle cars. u just want something simplejokeisgames2012
pc development has so much overhead because of all the goddamn video card & drivers jokeisgames2012Sure, you can have your "boat anchor" like classic Amiga hardware.
if budati had bigger bore or same size and shorter stroke than the hemi lol it would kill it jokeisgames2012
This comparison is so worthless...
108.0 x 95.3 mm V8 (2713mm^2 (total surface area of pistons)) .872L / piston, 6.98L total (70hp/L?)
vs
86 x 86mm W16 (4320mm^2) .499L / piston, 7.9L total (126hp/L)
The Bugatti 'has' the shorter stroke, and its bore equates to nearly double the total surface area (due to having 2x the pistons)
So yea, it does kill it.
[QUOTE="reach3"][QUOTE="Jebus213"] doesn't look sharp or crisp though.Jebus2131) irrelevant, technical graphics is far better 2) is native 720p, still very crisp. Is still the resolution that 50% of pc gamers play at today, being a hypcrit as we? Who the hell plays at 720p on PC?

nope bigger piston/bore is more important than stroke.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5_AKjDdqaUbugati has 4 turbos only pushing 980 hp with a v16 lol.

You can't compare street cars to race cars, especially not top fuel drag racers, they can't even turn.
dont matter if its street legal or not.Where's these european cars pushing 8 thousand horsepower like american v8s?jokeisgames2012
Because that's apples to oranges, Europe doesn't like watching cars go in a strait line or turning left all day.

Who built fastest military fighter plane? america thats matters more we got airplane that can fly into space dude but would fall apart on entry into earths atmosphere lol.is native 720p, still very crisp. Is still the resolution that 50% of pc gamers play at today, being a hypcrit as we?reach3
720p is no more crisp than 1024x768. I think the latter is technically more crisp because of its higher vertical res. The main advantage of 720p is more viewing space left and right.
The 4:3 resolutions: 1280x1024 @ 85hz or better was commonplace among PC gamers (prior to widescreen) with CRT screen sizes from 17" to 19" followed by 21" CRTs at 1600x1200 @ 85hz.
PC LCD monitors started out with 4:3 aspect ratio (1280x1024*, 1600x1200) and quickly moved to 16:10 and 16:9 aspect ratios. I recall 17" LCDs at a res of 1366x768 and 19" LCDs at 1440x900. The 19" LCDs at 1440x900 and 1600x900 quickly became the most common even as 20" and above PC monitors came in at 1680x1050 and 1920x1080.
PC monitors pretty much skipped 720p.
*1280x1024 isn't 4:3. I still wonder how the heck this oddball res got mixed in with real 4:3 resolutions.

The SR-71 came long after the Bell X1, which was the first to break the sound barrier. lol.

My fvcking CRT monitor did higher then 720p.That's what I mean. I don't recall any widescreen PC monitors using 720p. The lowest I've seen was 1366x768 on a little 14"(?) widescreen monitor. 720p was mostly used by consumer TVs and consoles. For me, I only became aware of 720p once I hooked up my PC to my 720p TV.

"Technically the speed of sound had probably been broken before that by several Second World War aircraft. Some British and American fighters may have unintentionally exceeded the speed of sound in an evasive dive and there are unconfirmed reports that the German Me 262 jet fighter managed to break the sound barrier." -http://www.rogerdarlington.me.uk/Mach.html
But, the first 'Jet' confirmed, I believe was the Canadian F-86E Sabre. The SR-71 "blackbird" was not the first jet, or even aircraft to break the sound barrier. The Bell X-1 was the first(confirmed) to break it.
