So is the only argument left against PC "I don't like it"?

There used to be myriads of lame excuses to turn down PC gaming. Too complicated. Too expensive. I gotta upgrade every year. Can't use a TV. Can't game on a couch. Too many problems. Can't use a controller. Not enough quality exclusives. Biggest games only come out on consoles etc.

At this point PC haters have run out of ammunition. There is no objective reason to not game on PC any more aside from the plain old "I don't like it". PC can easily give you the console experience and then some. Hell there is even the Xbox app which allows you to party chat with your Xbox Live friends. Was doing it last week while playing MGS5 and my boys were playing The Division. We then got together for some Horde Mode in GOW4, Needless to say they were pretty psyched we could chat and even play together.

So are there any valid(as in that can be demonstrated) to dislike/not game on PC?

Yeah, it's a hassle. Easier to buy Xbox.

There's a hassle that comes with gaming on a pc that doesn't exist on consoles. Some people like fiddling away trying to get they're game looking as good as possible. Some just want to play.

"Too expensive" and exclusives is the only valid arguments left. Some who say it's too expensive spend even more money on consoles, accessories and games than some PC gamers anyway and those people are just bullshitting.

Physical media being mostly dead on PC is one "objective" reason that immediately comes to mind.

But really, what other argument other than "I don't like it" does anybody need? Some people just don't enjoy playing games on a PC as much as they do on a console just like some people don't enjoy eating Domino's as much as Pizza Hut. It's all just preference.

Why are some PC gamers so insecure over the fact that not everybody enjoys gaming on a PC? There is a saying that the lion does not lose sleep over the opinions of the sheep and since many PC gamers like to consider console gamers as sheep and themselves as the Master Race, why does the self proclaimed Master Race care so much that somebody would rather play games on a console? Would it make you feel better to hear me talk about how great the PC is? I do a little bit of PC gaming and I recognize that the PC has some advantages over consoles, but the advantages that the PC has are just not that important to me and playing games on a console is simply a more enjoyable experience for me, so therefore I'm usually going to choose to play games on my consoles over my PC in most situations.

There are tons of threads all over the internet with people trying to correct stuttering, crashes, weird effects on their PC's. Do I turn down the res, and run on ultra? What do I have to fiddle with to get the best fps? Let me fire up afterburner and sort it all out.

I get that you can just run games as they are on pc, and just play. If you're doing that though, then you really don't care about graphics. At that point... Why not just get a console?

Idiots like the TC need to realize that "I don't like it" really is the only reason people need not to do something. It's not that hard to understand. I hate kiwi fruits with a passion so I don't eat them. Why? Because I freaking don't like them and I don't really care if that hurts somebody's fruit feelings.

But aside from subjective preference, like somebody already mentioned, no physical media is a reason why I don't game as much on PC anymore as I did in the (distant) past. I just don't really like the idea of 90% of my games being tied to my Steam account while I can do whatever the hell I want with my retail console games. I assume my gaming habits will shift again a little when I finally get around to build a new desktop but that will have to wait until I find an ultrawide monitor I'm pleased with.

When a game is in focus, it should automatically switch to Xbox controller mode but in Windows desktop focus, it should be in mouse emulation mode.

PC's Windows 10 has some usability issues with TV use cases.

As long MS and NV has longer cooperation distance when compared to Xbox Team, MS and NV blames each other.

• Steam store is a mess
• Games are way too seperated in different DRM stores (Origin, Steam, Uplay, Windows Store, Epic Store, Blizzard Launcher, and I don't even know what else)
• Windows 10 exclusivity of MS titles: Forza Horizon, Forza, Age of Empires

Those are some things I absolutely don't like about PC gaming at the moment.

Pc's alot easier and spec friendly to get into compared to ye old days, but it's still abit of a hump compared to consoles.

Saying that, consoles themselves (Xbox/PS) have developed a hump thanks to taking on pc features.

No, I mean the Steam store is a mess because some fake developer was able to upload 100 fake games in the span of a month.

Valve removed them, but he is far from the only case. Far from the worst too.

I used to browse through upcoming releases on Steam, now I don't anymore because 99% aren't even real games, they are just ... asset packs sold on steam. Asset packs you won't even be able to make a game out of.

How can one play EA or Ubisoft games and not use their DRM stores ?

I'd love to know how I could play Age of Empires DE or Forza 7 and not have to use Windows Store or get Windows 10 :(

The difference, MS remotely maintains their Xbox One consoles and it's their responsibility to maintain it.

Anyone who's wanted to, has seen it do 4k. When developers say their game is confirmed as being 4k, it will likely be.... You guessed it. 4k. Heck most games run at 1080p on the XB1 these days. You're still stuck in 2013 thinking they're all "struggling to do 720p at 30fps".

Nobody is chiding you for playing on pc. Why are you so upset that some people don't?

Lol ok if you count the streaming service then sure.

But the exclusives PC gets, let's be honest it's more for niche groups. The big AAA games will all be on console, PC missess out on a lot of those because much of them are console exclusive. Even with the streaming service of MS and Sony, you'll still miss Ninty's great games (for console and handheld)

How about you make sure and shell out for your pc, keyboard, mouse, and 4k monitor. Sounds kinda dumb doesn't it?

Retail Xbox One in dev mode can run UWP DosBox which can run Windows 95 hence Starcraft original can run on Xbox One.

MS has recently made XBO's public UWP to access the entire Xbox One resource via DirectX12.

Of course PC gets more exclusives, it has services like steam,... Doesn't mean they're good though.

Anyway I'm sounding like an anti-PC dude here. Both have their pros and cons, but I find the quality of console exclusive games to be higher than PC, the scores also reflect this. Doesn't mean PC is sh*t, it's not.

You know what occurs if you keep telling the same old lies to yourself. Xbox gamers are not the brightest spark, they love sub 30 FPS experiences and simply lock themselves to a brand. They are so easily shat upon by MS, it's quite funny.

Also, PC's are not that problematic, i have had more error codes and faulty consoles than every rig i have owned.
