I was. During the PS2 gen, SONY was making money hand over fist. They have truly disappointed this gen. There is no way I can support them, especially now that they're not even making $1 billion in profit annually.

Anyone could've seen the Wii U was going to be a trainwreck. I knew from the moment they announced the name, and even today people still think its a Wii add on. Wii U is failing because Nintendo is being Nintendo.

Marketshare is relevant, but I'm not saying it guarantees success (look at the PS3) Its just a foundation to build upon. A foundation the 360 never had.

Profits and games are both important. SONY can't survive by letting cows suck them 24/7. They need cold hard cash, something cows seem reluctant to fork over to SONY.

And that doesn't change the fact that PS2 sales dropped 35% from 2010-11 compare to 2011-12 sales,from .4 million units to just 4.1 that is a 2.3 million drop,even if you apply half of that to 2012-13 sales that still is 1.15 million units less sold,which would put the PS2 at little under 3 millions sold,and would put the PS3 over the 360 by like 150K or more.

The link only points to Sony stopping shipment in Japan. Not the rest of the world.

It's really beside the point anyway. It still doesn't change the fact that Sony, for some reason, felt the need to start combining the PS2 and PS3 numbers for the last year.

You still have no factual way to separate the two numbers for the last fiscal year.

Wow..calm down...you're going to have a stroke. I'm only trying to point out that you can't sit there and act like MS had all these advantages handed to them by Sony. Then not factor in that the RRoD effected sales in some way. The RRoD was probably the biggest negative media story relating to gaming in the 2006-2008 time period. It was everywhere. Even sites that had nothing to do with gaming were covering it, and not in a positive way. If you couldn't see this, you truly are more dilusional than I thought.

Are you seriously going to sit their with a straight face and try to act like the media, and pretty much every PS3 fansite made no mention when games like NG, TES, Bayonetta, or ME went to to the PS3? It was all over the place. You really only see what you want to see don't you? I may have to withdrawl my earlier statement about how you are a cow, but how I didn't think you were a blind PS3 fanboy. 

The PS3 had every advantage going into this generation. It was a Sony product. The Playstation name, It had a rabid fanbase. The PS2 was huge, with a huge install base, who would blindly buy the next PS product. It was hyped as being more powerful, with more developers in line to develop for it. etc...etc. The media did nothing but hype the PS3.
