Their skin looks like flat, lifeless porcelain if the screenshots are anything to go by.

@phbz @SipahSalar When you factor that over 80 million 360's alone have sold, yeah, 7 million is relatively nobody.

"The NRDC projects that if all the previous-generation consoles are replaced with the Xbox One, PS4, and Wii U, they will use roughly 10 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity a year..."

What is the point of that statement? For starters, that won't happen for an extremely long time. Furthermore, by the time it does happen, there will be more energy efficient versions of the current generation just like there was with many past generations. Also, kudos to Nintendo for their first selling point for the WiiU.

Does anyone else remember MS saying, upon launch, that the Kinect was just as much part of the "ecosystem" as the controller itself? I'm laughing at that more now than I was then.

Ah, so he's bored with all games? There's literally nothing out there that captivates him as much as Farmville did? I have news for you, jackass, if Farmville is what captivates you, you don't belong in the game industry. I think what he meant to say was that he was bored that there were no other companies out there that he could buy and pretend their IP was his own doing.

He really takes the piss. He didn't have the wit to respond to the question properly. Being bored with all games right now is the answer to, "What is your favorite game?" If he finds a mindless, spamtastic game like Farmville so enthralling, he may really enjoy Candy Crush Saga or any of the other multitude of flavor-of-the-week mobile games. That's all mobile games are and all they will ever be. What's popular now won't be popular in the next couple of months.

Gaaahhhh..../rant

@SurfaceNerd Do the math. How many people bought GTA V versus SR4? If you followed Rockstar at all, you'll see that they openly acknowledged it was going to be rough due to the higher than expected sales.

Saints Row didn't make a billion dollars but it also doesn't have the level of detail and the co-op is limited to two people.

Also, the only thing these series have in common is a sandbox world. That's it. It's like comparing CoD to BF. They're the same genre but play totally different in every other aspect.

@ShadowOfKratos The last two weeks should have been used as an open beta to iron out the glitches and bugs. This would have produced a staggered entry into the online game which would make it a little easier on the servers and would give them time to fix a lot of things before a full launch.

@SurfaceNerd Saints row didn't make $1b in the first three days. It's also not nearly as revered a series as GTA nor does it have the amount of things to do nor the number of players in multiplayer. Don't get me wrong, it's fun as hell but GTA is the premier frontrunner for sandbox titles.

What irks me is that if you browse through a lot of their support forums it is largely PS3 users that can't get in at all and they don't seem to have acknowledged that. Most of the live streams that were available last night were pretty much 360. I tried on PS3 so I don't personally know how well it works for 360 but the ratio of complaints was about 10:1 PS3:360.
