@stylest: actually they did and even a "slight" improvement or difference is still a difference, personally I dont care as I buy all the consoles and handhelds every generation I mean its not hard to buy 1 console or handheld per year even if you are on a limited budget or make a small income - I have a fairly new PC - its not top end but decent enough and the new 3DS XL and PS4, X360, and Wii U - only console I dont own of the current 8th gen is the Xone only b/c I havent gotten around to it (yet) and havent until recently saw a need to, though I will at some point. Admittedly I prefer PS consoles and Nintendo consoles (for the exclusives since I grew up on nintendo titles like Xenoblade-Chronicles X, mario and DK, bayonetta titles among others), but thats just me to each their own. I dont care which system is a bit more powerful under the hood tech-specs only go/take it so far, but it is what it is. It just easier to own them all and choose titles reguardless of what platform you end up buying them on.

LOL @ comments people will say anything about a game fact is Xenoblade Chronicles X in japan has already been giving immense praise and close to near perfect reviews (and considering Monolith Soft and Tetsuya Takahashi's prior projects and experience in large-scale open world ARPGs, and RPGS) he has done just that (that he always wanted to) finally create a game where as in his words "humans and robots can live alongside together" and a massive world in full HD, believe it or not (Gasp) some people actually look forward to that, the original Chronicles was released in NA ONLY after Operation Rainfall and something like 135,000 petitions to bring it state-side/locatlization and despite some hiccups with the voice acting (for the most part) that didnt even bother me, I'm sure the same will be with X as well but its a bigger, large world with even more play hours (which considering the fact that I put nearly 235 hours into the original) I can only imagine this game being 300 hours + (and its been discussed numerous times how this game world is larger then both the previous Chronicles title as well as other titles like Skyrim and even the more recent Witcher 3,

THIS is what I have been waiting for) Not Flunkout 4 or Witcher 3, though I enjoyed the game - I have a strong indication that I will enjoy X far more, theres been a slew of other decent titles over the year both retro-inspired and otherwise but I think this is perfect that it comes towards the end of the year right before the holidays though I'll be buying it myself and it wont be a gift, in a way its the perfect gift - I just find it funny comments that it wont do well (right) it ALREADY HAS - with a 9/10 (coming I guarantee it, the original got that - and this game was/is everything the original is but a better more developed combat system, obviously better artwork, or more indepth progression IN the artwork system, larger world, more varied creatures to make combat with, obviously a longer storyline, in all its as said everything the previous title is and then some) so the fact that its already been released 6 months ago in Japan and has done well, its always going to be the underdog in a industry of breakout releases.

To each their own though, great thing about opinions is you dont have to listen or read them I almost never read comments sections cause its full of such varied bullshit lol sometimes its not an opinion just insult for the sake of insult (I often wonder if kids even play games nowadays right the term "kids" is exactly appropriate) or just come to game sites read a headline and go flop or not lol. Thank god the real gamers know where to go and what to do.

@realguitarhero5: 360 had a much better mod culture. games ran better, more selection more variety - moddin and ease of use > ps3s horrid interface, way of handling memory, very rigid system, THE ONLY thing that made it good is this blu-ray player (and I already had a superior samsung bluray player so..um yea no thanks) lol but to each their own
