Heya's

I pre-ordered L4D2 yesterday, and tried the demo, but because I live in Australia I got the censored version, which is probably only PG now. Anyway, I'm wondering how do you go about getting a refund for games on steam?

Heya's

I just got through downloading the demo and for some reason the sound in game stutters and kinda loops. Is this happening to anyone else, and is there some way to fix it. I remember reading a post a few days ago with someone saying something like this, so Im assuming there was some kind of fix for it.

So, when does the demo become available for all the people who didn't pre-order the game?

PSU is fine, although...I see you're spending alot of money, so why not invest in a i7 instead? Those processors are as future proof as you can get.

Sparticus247

The Phenom IIs are fine and have little difference when it comes to gaming and other tasks, especially for home use, not to mention they are cheaper all around. That quad core will last him a long time. That psu should do it but why not get a 500w? They are really around the same price and add a little extra power for anything else you may get in the future.

the 430W PSU is what I have now in my current computer. The 850W was what I was going to get, unless its overkill and someone lets me know a good Wattage to go for that will see me through for several years.

Yeah, the total cost is going to be around $1900. If I did go with an i7 build its going to pump the price up around other $1000 :P

also, I'll only be using my 430W till I get the extra for the other bits and pieces. But if its going to be an issue, I'll probably wait a bit and get the case and psu with those first few things Im ordering then all I'll be waiting for its the graphics card, which is $600. lol

Alrighty, just have a quick question. Im starting to get parts for my new build soon, and Im hopping I'll be able to use my current power supply with the few bits Im getting first. The complete build Im hopping to do will be:

CPU -AMD Phenom II 965 3.40Ghz, 8MB Cache, 667Mhz FSB, Quad Core (Black Edition) AM3

MoBo - Asus M4A79T-DELUXE

RAM - Corsair Micro4GB Kit (2x2GB), PC-12800 (1600MHz) DDR3, Dominator DHX, 8-8-8-24, Dual Channel Kit

GFX - Sapphire Radeon HD5870 (850mhz), 1GB GDDR5 (2400mhz), PCI-E 2.0, Fan Cooler, DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort

Case - Thermaltake Spedo Advance Package

PSU - Thermaltake ToughPower QFan 850 Watt Active PFC Cable Management

Im not sure if the power supply is overkill for that, but this will hopfully be my system for quite some time so I'll be doing several upgrade over the years.

Im planning on ordering the Mobo, CPU and RAM first, and the rest I'll be using from my current stuff. which will be:

GFX - Sapphire Radeon HD4870 (750Mhz), 1GB DDR5 (900Mhz), PCI-E 2.0

PSU - Thermaltake 430W, not sure of the model it came with myThermaltake Soprano case.

so, im just curious if my current PSU would be capable of running the quad core ok? Also, feel free so sujest any tips on the build you'd like. I'll be getting all my gear fromwww.scorptec.com.au so if they dont have it in stock. the only other place I'll buy from is my local shops.

Hey, I just went to play my 360 and it popped up with an update, so I let it do its thing and all updated with no issues. The console rebooted but not Im unable to connect to Live now. Is anyone having a similar issue or has any idea why Im unable to connect now? I was connected perfectly fine about an hour before the update. Also, connection test is telling me Im connecting to the internet with no issues, its just Live that isnt working.
