@gamerbum: But who cares? It really comes down to the games. If you enjoy games on Xbox, then you'll like it. Same for PS5. Personally, like every other previous system, there's absolutely no games I'm interested in on the console that I can't also play on my laptop, so there's zero reason for me to want an Xbox. So, laptop and PS5 for me.
@jsprunk: Trash in what way? The PS4 has been immensly enjoyable. At least for me, it is the central part of my entertainment, with only my laptop behind it. Everything I do as far as entertainment goes comes from my PS4 and I love it.
I don't get WHY people are so shocked the game is like this? How is that any different from the first game, besides this one reflecting the current state of things? The first game was very heavily anti-corporate, the second one was the same with the addition of more social issues, and this game is focusing on anti-facism. I'm looking forward to this one. The first two games were a lot of fun and this one looks fun too. The story sounds like much of the same from other similar stories and I likely won't get very invested, but if it's enough to give me a playground to hack and play with a bunch of toys, I will be happy. I'm renting it anyway, so however good it is, it's no big deal to me.
@urbanman2004: Idk how much work being on a board of directors is, but I doubt he's hurting his back doing them. Probably amounts to as much work as he wants to do without all the pressure.
I have absolutely zero reason to believe this game comes out until it actually does. This is one thing about the industry that irks me. I realize they need to create hype and sales for the game, but the continual delays suggest more than just unpredicted events getting in the way of release. It feels like a messy behind the scenes. I just wish that CDPR had not made so many announcements and release date calls. They should have just kept developing until they felt the game was ready, then made an announcement. This was supposed to be my big game of 2020, but at this point, I'll just be happy if it's even released. I just keep thinking that, by the time I get it, it won't be able to live up to the anticipation of having to wait through delay after delay.
Worth spending money? No, because A. You get enough wishes in game that you can probably get her for free if you keep playing and B. Although she's fun to play, she's not necessary. The game is still fun with the characters you can easily get.
I've been looking forward to this and the demo was petty great. I do wish it was more of a straight FPS/stealth game, since we don't get nearly enough of those in the cyberpunk genre, but this is great in it's own way.
