I just want to know who thought turning Kojima's masterpiece of a franchise into this hot pile of garbage was a great idea. Sure, we've seen some strange ideas for the franchise before, but the demo showed just how awful this was going to be. It frustrates me that Kojima got the treatment he did, but then Konami turns around and essentially spits on his creation. They couldn't even bother to make a halfway decent stealth game, just this mediocre survival trash.
Ouch, that's a huge disappointment. Really thought we would be getting two great cyberpunk projects this month. Come on Duncan! I liked Source Code, but Warcraft was garbage and now this? It's like he's taking the Shyalaman approach, where his career just gets progressively worse.
After the first sentence of the review I stopped reading. It really wasn't nearly that bad. The CG looked fine. The action was decent. It's major problems were the story, which it tried to adapt too much of for one film, and the acting, which I expected to be bad as that's typically the case for major films like this when they don't use quality actors.
@mojito1988: Well, besides the fact that it's library is mostly made up of indie games, many of which have already been out for a while, and ports which people have already played. For a system that's pretty great, Nintendo seems to have an issue getting a decent amount of AAA games.
Never got to play these, so if I ever buy the Switch again, I'll definitely have to pick up this collection. Always was interested in giving these games a go.
It's a tough choice for me. So many have been apart of my life at some point. Genesis was a huge part of my young life, as was PC gaming. N64 gave me a lot of good years with some very solid, classic games. PlayStation, the original, gave me some of the best gaming moments I've ever had. I don't think I could pick just one.
I'm glad that Grand Kingdom is getting cross play this month. I had been meaning to play it, but never wanted to buy it, so I'll finally get to dig in.
