Consoles can't have multiple chip SKUs to cover for manufacturing defects.

Umm, what the hell does that mean? I never said there should be some Xbox Ones with 12 CUs and others with 14, lol.

It probably was the XBox 360 game. Titanfall is coming out on the XBox 360 as well DUMMY. You're pics are probably from the XBOX 360 version. lol!! You cows are so stupid.

Actually they never showed off Titanfall gameplay for the 360 yet, it just looked like it could of been a 360 game, the footage LOL pretty sad....... :lol:

You guys are hilarious with these anti-Titanfall posts and threads. Were you at E3? Nope. But y'all like to pretend that somehow you know better than the people that were and whom heaped accolades and awards on it (How many awards did PS4 games win again, lol?). This is about it being a Xbox One title ... SOLELY. If and when it comes to PS4 y'all will change your tune instantly.

That's actually kinda funny considering that while 360 didn't have as many exclusives as PS3 it tended to get the ones that were huge blockbusters. Games like Gears and Halo, though few and far between, sold much better than most PS3 exclusives.

Umm, no. If that were the case what would be the point in upgrading from my X360? Heck, I'm pretty disappointed in the new consoles as it is: 1.8 tflops is well below what my expectations were (was expecting 2.5) and 1.2 tflops is ridiculous for a new console in late 2013.

It especially makes sense out of the very-similar-to-Xbox-One-GPU 7790 having 14 CUs in it.

The original article pointed out that MS locked 3 gigs of RAM in place, so that's never coming back unless they change plans. Sony has it placeholding, so it could come back at some point. I'd say both companies unlock these RAM allocations in the future and you see both pushing 6 gigs of RAM for games. Of course, GDDR5 > GDDR3, so 6 gigs of that is better, but whether or not anyone will actually make use of all that is the question.

 

Xbone has DDR3 not GDDR3.  Two different things.  GDDR3 is based on DDR2 and DDR3 is what GDDR5 is based on.  But anyway the memory is not the real difference.  With its 32mb esram the memory of the xbone will perform close enough to the memory of the PS4 for it not to matter.  The real difference between the system and honestly the only substantial difference in terms of performance is the GPU in the PS4 being ~33% stronger.

This is basically true. However, it's the DDR3's fault that the GPU is weaker. The ESRAM and data move engines are there to help it out and those things use up space on the die that should have went to more compute units and ROPs.

I can't remember exactly what figure they gave nor even the exact company that said it, think it might have been Epic, but I recall reading an interview where someone said they had looked into what it would take to make a game that truly rivals reality and the figure they came up with was in petaflops and quite a few of them. Computers ain't nowhere near that right now.
