What do you have right now? No really excellent exclusives on either console (lol @ The Last of Us remastered, Gears of War remastered, Halo remastered) , and the most interesting games I can think up from the top of my head are Bloodborne, Metal Gear Solid V, Witcher III, GTA V, Alien Isolation and Shadow of Mordor.

And I remember how much whining was going on during 2008 for how little games the PS3 had.

I think this is largely because gamers demand huge games. All the time ya hear that if a campaign isn't like 100 hours long then the game is a rental. So it takes a long time to make games now.

And as bad as the GPUs are the CPUs are even worse. They decided to stick to $400 cuz that's what gamers are use to. But the dollar has lost 40% of its value since the last consoles launched. Ya can't do a $400 console anymore and it be worth a damn.

Lol, trips me out how much Destiny looks like Halo. Bungie claimed they were tired of making the same thing so they go out and make a Halo mmo that isn't a Halo mmo but really ... it's a Halo mmo. And now they have less control over things than they ever did.

That does look nice. It's the smoothness that does it. 60 fps jumps out at you from across a room, is noticeable immediately. So many devs underestimate what it does for a game.

Considering the specs of X1 I thought it was a little silly of them to promise 1080p/60 right off the jump. Maybe the 60 fps but not both. But I applaud the solution they've come up with. Framerate > resolution. Ya hear that, CDR?

Of course Sony fans have gotten annoying. They got knocked back a peg last gen and now it's payback time. Everyone of them should be kneeling at Don Mattrick's johnson and throwing money at him. Best employee Sony has ever had.

I have a PS4 and Xbox One as well as a PC.....but I don't use my 1080p screen because it's too far away and to much effort to bring it to my room.... I've been gaming in 720p for last 2 years. No problems.... I enjoy what I play....

ppppppp's don't matter as much as people think...

I'd go back to Dark Souls on my X360 any day. It has a pathetic resolution and the frame drops are astronomical.

The point I was trying to make is that PS4 is not really a 1080p console. It's a 1080p pretender. Its GPU is probably good enough for 1080p but its CPU has no business in the 1080p realm. It drops frames all over the place in Witcher 3 because the CPU is being asked to do more than its capable of. The PS4 version should be updated to display at a resolution the CPU can actually handle and/or GPGPU should be initiated to help the struggling CPU out.
