it seems like we will need a picture thread soon to compare Shepard faces. I am sure that not all female Shepards are ugly :)the_ChEeSe_mAn2

I know I wouldn't kick my femshep out of my bed if she accidentally found her way there :P

I will admit though that the face editor that comes with Mass Effect is pretty useless. Although I am surprised the OP doesn't like Jennifer Hale's voice. I personally prefer Hale to Meer but then I guess we all have different tastes.

If we look at Dragon Age Origins to get all the DLC would cost you £61 that is on top of the £30 you already spent on the game. So to get the full saga you would have to spend nearly £100. Alternatively you just had to wait a bit and buy Dragon Age Origins Ultimate for around £30.

I think it is safe to assume that Dragon Age 2 will be even worse for DLC and you could end up spending nearly £100 on the DLC alone. So as I said it makes sense to wait for the Ultimate Edition.

As others have said, save your cash and wait till they have finished trying to milk the game for every little penny they can with DLC. That's what the smart gamer does these days.

I think I can pretty confidently predict Microsoft will have nothing for the PC at E3. There is no way Microsoft is going to use an event like E3 to push the PC platform when it could use that time/resources to further shove the xbox down our throats.

I wish more information about this would circulate. I want to know will mods be available, is teh game going to be updated graphically? blah blah. DX11? A more precise release date, etc. If all of these things were in the mix then I'd purchase it for PC, I have yet to play the game period though.

It is a bit difficult to give more detailed information on something that does not exist. How do people keep missing the fact this was a "rumour" based on incredibly weak proof. There is no evidence to suggest that RDR is coming to the PC now or next year or in ten years time. If you want to play RDR then you will have to purchase a console to do so because Rockstar seem to be pretty hell bent on ignoring the biggest gaming platform on the planet.

This is the final "story based" DLC for Mass Effect 2. It is possible they may finish off doing the crappy appearance packs but that is it. The Devs did say earlier this year that they would be bring plenty of "bridging" content to Mass Effect 2, but plans change and we got 1 sorta briding DLC and that is it.

How far into the game can you start playing "Arrival?"Elann2008

Arrival activates after you do the Horizon mission in Mass Effect 2 (another bad mark against it), it is said that Arrival is meant to be played after you finish the suidcide mission (yeah right so why does Hackett bleat on about me finishing my mission). In reality there is very little difference between doing it before the SM or doing it after, at best you get a few cosmetic changes and that is it.

Yeah I got to admit this DLC didn't really thrill me that much either. It felt short, rushed and seemed to totally contradict and weaken Mass Effect 2's story if it is possible to actually weaken ME 2's story any further :P . Ah well what is done is done, hopefully Bioware will get back to form with ME 3.

[QUOTE="mhofever"]Knowing Rockstar, the PC version will release six months after consoles as usual.PcGamingRig

or not at all if RDR is anything to go by. :(

although GTA is a much bigger series.

Just because they haven't released Red Dead Redemption on the PC does not mean they won't release the next GTA on the PC. After all Red Dead Revolver never came to the PC but that didn't stop them bringing GTA 4 to the PC.

I wouldn't worry about whether GTA will come to the PC the questions as always is "when" and "what sorry state will in be in". I would say anything up to a year after the console version and still as broken as ever if past Rockstar history is used as a measurement.

Yes ME 1 does have activations, I am unsure whether they removed them (doubtful) so it is best to go under the assumption they are still there. I have never had a problem running out of activations but I believe EA is pretty "decent" at giving you more activations should you run out of them. At the end of the day ME 1 is dirt cheap now (even cheaper if you wait for a steam sale). So although it has limited activations it is difficult to argue about avoiding the game because of that. You will easily get more than your money's worth of gaming out of ME 1 before you ever run out of activations.
