Isn't this the exact same thing they've done for the last 3 console generations? lol. The in game footage won't look nearly this good (again). How about concentrating on something like AI and gameplay for once.

Is it just me or does Kerrigan sound like Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) more than Trish Helfer?

@Diablo-B @Lexamun Obviously he means chronologically in the game universe, not the release date of the product. The events in this DLC take place before the crappy ending of the actual game. Which is still the ending (even slightly tweaked with that ending DLC).

@Grenadeh @cryofax It says right in the article "World of Warcraft movie".If the article is wrong that isn't my fault. Curb your attitude. I'm well aware of the difference having played both the originals when they were brand new and they still have a place of honor on my shelf. If you'd like to compare knowledge about classic games I'd be happy to hand your ass to you.

@100proofsoco Hey you mind taking a step back? You're a bit close to that edge and I'd hate to see someone come along and push you.

As much as I becoming less of a fan of Blizzard with their gradual decline in quality, I do respect their decision to maintain veto power and not let Hollywood turn their WoW movie into another steaming pile video-game to movie translation. Why just ignore Blizzard's own screenplay, and try and make "an original story" that will porbably just piss off WoW fans? Use Blizzard's story from their own writers and do it right.

@Kane04 @demonkingx5 @Kraken422 I agree with your opening statement. Choice is always better so why people argue against that is beyond me.

But I don't think this is aimed at the existing PC-gamer market. As you point out we already have something better that is more open. I think they're trying to pry the gamepad out of console gamer hands. Will it work? If you can get an easy to use box that plays PC-quality games at a decent price then perhaps, but I just don't see how this can happen.

If the specs end up just being on par with consoles then there isn't a lot of point to it.

@Ravenlore_basic @cryofax @grove12345 That's fine but I wasn't pointing out my PC's power to get into a pissing match, I was simply refuting the earlier post that a PC can't match a console after a few years, which makes no sense since the console hardware specs are static, so a better PC built at the same time would be better indefinitely. I personally enjoy gameplay over eyecandy any day. Barely anything touches Starcraft or System Shock 2 to this day.

@Renegade__angel @cryofax I understand Windows 8 is pretty much Windows 7 with a new front end, but that's the point. They're trying to introduce and get people used to using the Windows App store, so they can phase out the freedom of the desktop in some future release. This is not good for developers or consumers. At all.

As for Apple, if you want an app on the iPhone, iPad, or iPod you HAVE to use the Apple app store. And they approve every app and charge 30% for the privilege. On the Mac it's true you can still "sideload" apps.
