Listen this lie has been spouted all day on here and it time people come to there senses. When people have been saying all day that its not possible it was "suck it lems " Now the truth comes out and its "well obvious, it was to retailers" BS!! this game did not sell as much as Gears 3 in its first week and I knew it didnt. PS3 games do not sell that kind of volume on average and then all of a sudden "boom" it sells 3.8 in one day? More then any other exclusive this gen??? and there were no boasts and accolades?? It had to be a lie. Dont change the story now bro. You guys were crowing it was sold to customers.

But seriously. Sony never lied, assuming the second of the three IGN articles was a misunderstanding. They said 3.8 million copies sold, and that's what it was. Sold in is still sold, and as I've said all day long, Sell in data from the publisher/platform holder is the only acccurate sales data anyway. Sell through is always an estimate.

So much miscommunication today, and so much raging over it.... And all because people can't stand the thought of a PS3 game having good sales. This day was so good.
