@lordshifu Open world is a bad thing you say, if you loose your interest then you simply don,t know how to play in a sandbox. These games are made to let you free, make your own path, give you control, something other genres take away from you in insane manners.
Open world is my favorite genre because I totally hate being forced down a corridor with ridiculous boundaries and having to tackle objectives in preset ways and predetermined order with no freedom whatsoever. That's a bad thing.
This kind of rant is always directed to CoD, because they are to blame mainly for the "no innovation annual sequel" syndrome. And yes, people keep supporting it so they just keep on doing it.
Still I think games that have a fan base should not completely change their games to the point where it is not anymore ( Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, etc) but they should keep the core gameplay, improve on the good elements of the game and scratch out the bad ones.
Very good game indeed, so hopefully as the word spreads out about the games excellent characteristic the sales should be good in the following months. I myself am not a fan of FPS specially with practically all of them copying from CoD and delivering very linear, scripted experiences with abused use of QTE's. That's not the case here.
I do not agree with consoles blocking used games. It's a way for me to play games I wouldn't buy new. Blocking used games will just reduce the game market so nobody wins, just the developers get away with their selfishness.
Still I think there is a fair way of implementing this idea, and that is where used games get replaced by new adjusted games, which means new, unopened games will continue to be presented by developers at a constantly decreasing price.
Keep the new release price constant for 3 months then start cutting the price in a way that as the game gets older it gets cheaper, close to where used games are priced, then the used game market will be over and developers will get their revenue for all games sold without sticking it to us, the costumers.
@erytas Maybe yes, like I said, the accuracy is amazing with a mouse, but then again, although the game is superior in PC it can be greatly enjoyed in any system.
The game is great, until you try to do a second play through, which introduces a whole bunch of annoying and game breaking bugs. They're getting patched though, but until then the game is a "play only once" game because it just comes apart on the second run.
