@Keaze_: You're not the only one, none of these guys are super stars. The era of Messi, Ronaldo, Beckham is passing, people that good only come once in a generation. These new guys are mediocre at best,

Its the same with boxing, the guys that are headlining now, are virtually unknown to most people. Like, Canelo, Kahn, Golovkin, who knows these guys outside of boxing fanatics.

Every sport has its heyday, then can only go down in talent.

@csward: I just don't wanna end up on a wild goose chase with no ending in sight. But from what I'm hearing, this looks like it will end, so I'll commit to it, when I'm certain its Manga arc has ended.

@xavroche: Lets hope you're right, if it indeed ends at volume 21, then I'll watch the series.

@d-man: Didn't say I'll never watch it, just when if it ever has an ending.

@doubtless1: That's what's wrong with anime series nowadays. Back in the days, even with Dragon Ball, they had a definitive ending for each arc. Which is why those old series are still revered to this day.

Now its all just fucking make it as you go crap.

I'm not watching this anymore. I don't watch anything that doesn't have a planed ending.

@retrogamer77: Yeah, traditional ads still carry a lot of weight in the real world. A lot of companies forget with the new online social media hoopla that traditional ad space creates perceived value. And perceived value drives sales.

Advertising is not just about making people aware of the product but to create a perceived value for the product, and nothing says perceived value then traditional advertising in both print, and TV.

A lot of modern day marketing people forget this and end up paying for it in the long run. If you don't run traditional ads on the streets and on TV, then your product is considered inferior, its all a matter of perception.

@_Silent_Jay_: When its over, and they announce it, then I'll start watching the anime again. Don't like things that don't have an ending.

@Simulator_Shock: Akira would not work well in real world context. Its too cartoony to be a good live action movie. Which is probably why a lot of directors quit.

Two things can never be made into good live action, Dragon Ball and Akira, they are just too Mangaed Out, to be believable in real world context.

The lead of Akira, has spiky hair and wears a red cape, for crying out loud. Its all too unrealistic to be made into a serious movie.

There are many good Japanese manga material that can be made into descent movies, like Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, etc, etc. but not Akira.

@kaalkurayami: Never gonna happen, Akira is too lowbrow for Nolan, he only wants Oscar caliber material. Psychic Japanese kid wearing a red cape, ain't exactly Oscar material.

And also, the Studio will never greenlight an 150+ million dollar film with a Japanese male lead.
