Everyone's expecting Scorpio, because it's cool and people like. But this is Microsoft so expect something out of left field like the Shwarma Box or something stupid like every other name they come up with for official release.
I used it for a few hours for Gears II and III when I got the free codes for buying Gears 4. Then that was it for me, too ugly to enjoy in these modern times.
Everyone fails to recall how Microsoft abandoned backwards compatibility way back on the 360 because no one was using it to the level the vocal minority claimed they would.
@toonarmy20: The one key fact that you numbskulls tend to forget is the majority of PS4 gamers WERE xbox gamers. There is a vast group of gamers out there that will game where it's best. If Scorpio is in fact that much better than PS4 Pro then people will simply buy the Scorpio and play on that instead. It's you stupid brand loyalists that think "ponies" just love Sony so much when in fact it's where they game because Xbox One sucks so much. I despise Sony, I boycotted them for years because of malware they placed on their record label CD's preventing ripping to MP3's on PC's. You probably don't even know anything about that but I sure do. But when you have an incredible gaming console that does everything you want and has the best console graphics available, you bite the bullet and go for it. Scorpio will be no different and will have UHD drive making more appealing to everyone that makes decisions based purely on the tech and not the exclusives.
@tiringpillow: The one single selling point for me is the physical media. I hate digital purchases since I can't do anything with it after it's finished. I can gladly trade in or sell my finished games at anytime but with digital, it's the same as flushing money down the toilet. PC games (any digital content) are forever held hostage in a digital prison. Most AAA games drop by nearly 40% on physical media within the first few months of release but the digital is still full retail. GTA V is STILL full retail price digitally! But dirt cheap on disc.
If the quality difference is minimal, i will certainly consider the switch. The quality difference between every Xbox One game at even medium settings 4K on PC is massive.
