VR is going to die if these companies can't make better quality headsets, higher resolutions and field of views that extend beyond your peripheral vision. Maybe the next generation will fix that problem. Even view master looks better.
@toonarmy20: Devs always praise the newest hardware, unless it's Nintendo. It isn't till about a year in when they realize the reality of the consoles limitations and start backing off on their expectations and enthusiastic support. Devs even started dumping support for the original Xbox One and focused on PS4 and PC instead after initially praising it. Luckily, the One X is the real deal and should be the tipping point that takes game development a little further than it has because of the current console markets stranglingly low overhead.
@gamingdevil800: True, but if they pull some locked 1080p/60 crap on a $500 console that Microsoft has insisted was for 4k gamers, there will be shock and awe, fire and fury, superfly TNT.
@yukushi: That's not true. They have not directly compared anything in that regard beside Tomb Raider and that did excel over the Pro by a large margin. Remember, gamers embrace gaming on both platforms.
