I have a feeling a few years he'll be giving a similar interview about Midway after it's a disaster too. Some of the worst and most over-used CGI in recent times. I'd almost prefer to sit through Pearl Harbour again. Romance scenes included.

The fact is, apart from characters and a story they were handed on a silver platter, they've done absolutely nothing else to deserve the recognition they get in terms of writers. If anything, the writing after Martin left GoT only ever went further and further downhill.
