@dr_jashugan It's not just about what's wrong with a game that affects the score. I could have sworn everyone knew this about Gamespot by now regarding how they rate games. For a game to get a 10 on GS it's going to have to do a LOT of things right and excel highly at the things it does right; as well as taking into account anything it does wrong and if it is enough to not rate it a 10.
@Erdi90 Too many reviewers are having knee jerk reactions with SE games lately. LR I can understand, but it's like they don't even give SE a chance unless it's a turn based old school RPG. A LOT of people are saying they like this Thief game.
@Culochilegge @cold_mist Those are from the idiots that assume this game must be exactly like Dishonored, are hardcore old school thief gamers, or are just there to spite SE.
@Devil_wings00 @swyg So then let everyone abandon it. Or, the best solution for everyone: make every game with both control setups in mind; ESPECIALLY for Nintendo's most important titles. Who else besides the hardcore gamers are really going to care about their main titles anyways? And why wouldn't their hardcore fanbase prefer a regular controller to that monstrosity? I'm not saying there aren't exceptions, but once the novelty wears off even they will be wanting a regular controller setup.
@AttackOfTheCat @HonorOfGod @swyg That would create a jarring, disconnected experience. Looking up and down constantly while refocusing your eyes on the distance on what is in front of you just doesn't work as a fluid gaming experience. The innovation should be coming from a game's software, not hardware.
